Only get a hit when I actually shot the emeny's wing off

I shot the F-4F’s wing off, and he was spinning out of the air, but all I got was a hit, not even severe damage, and I watched other low-ball players come in and take my kill. That was some nice coding this Russian company put in this game.

To what extent was the wing shot off?

I’ve actually experienced a similar thing. I was test flying the mosquito NF and shot off half of a MiG-15s wing. It only gave me a “hit” while the plane was left spiraling into the ocean. You would think the code would at least give you a critical.
