I fail to understand why China’s HJ-series anti-tank missiles are equipped with the Type 88 explosive, which was adopted by the Imperial Japanese Navy back in the 1930s. This type of explosive was completely phased out and replaced by the new Type 1 explosive in the mid-to-late stage of World War II. The HJ-8, whose development was initiated in 1977, and the HJ-9, launched in 1988, should never adopt such outdated ordnance. Why do video games use this obsolete and inaccurate explosive formulation instead of real high-performance explosives?
You can bug report it here: Gaijin.net // Issues (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about)

For historical issues such as these there are requirements for what sources are acceptable:

Regarding the explosive charges adopted by the 2nd and 3rd generation anti-tank missiles of the Chinese military: it can only be concluded from academic papers that the 2nd generation uses RDX-based Juhei-2 explosive, while the 3rd generation applies HMX-based Ju’ao-8 explosive. No literature or public materials explicitly state the exact charge configuration for specific missile models, as such data is classified and not publicly accessible. The relevant authorities will never release this information, and there is nothing we can do about it.
