That’s so unlucky, you hit practically the only spot with no chance of penetrating at that angle (though the areas around aren’t guaranteed to be penned either judging from the analysis ).
Except its not the spot that I hit, I hit on top of the tow hook right from the headlight bracket and not under it. It should’ve penned.
If it’s a non pennable spot I’d understand but it’s clearly not as your screenshots demonstrates.
In the end I understand that server ping and localisation could be a thing too but in that case it should account for what the shooter sees and not what the shootee sees like most fps’s where you get shot after turning a corner because serverside you still was visible.
the uparmored centurion has 76+44mm, the angle was like 10 degrees at most in the hit analysis and on level ground, protection analysis says it can and will pen upwards of 500m with that round, it’s the same round as the DM13, exactly same stats and I’m pretty experienced with it.
The problem is that this damn game takes 2 plates and says it’s spaced armor when it clearly isn’t, the shell didnt shattered either, it just vanished into thin air.
We all know that APDS have problems and putting your damn heads in the sand like ostriches will not help in any ways.
If you insist
you hit the top of the towing eye, then the extra thick upper plate of the mk10 centurion. even if you didn’t skim the towing eye weakening the shell you probably weren’t going through
wait they arent modelled on centurion? seems odd for them to be missing on it when its present on the DM of a lot of other vehicles doesn’t explain this SC from charm either
