Problem is his statement has already been proven true, case in point look at the F4U-1A in the US and Japanese tech tree, the Japanese F4U-1A was moved to 3.0br while the US version stayed at 2.7br despite being the same plane.
The difference in this case is that the F-15s are more noticeable so if they moved one down without moving down the same version in other tech trees, moving down, there would be outrage.
Purely on a technicallity maybe, but there is yawning chasming between Skyflash DF (Aim-7E-2 equivalent) and Aim-7M. Especially when launch aircraft is considered too. F-15A is yeeting that Aim-7M was considerably more energy and probably a lot more height
if an F-15A is launching an AIM-7M high and fast its not staying alive long enough to guide it halfway in. Skyflash DF to AIM-7M isnt as bad as AIM-7M to R-27ER or pretty much any fox 3
My first Rank VIII plane will probably be the F-15A so I’m just going to get the most out of it while it lasts. In fact, I might actually be able to come out with a positive K/D in it lol (I’m not the best at ARB (yet)).
Edit: A quick question. F-15E or F-15A first? Thinking the F-15A might be a better intro to top-teir. On the other hand, I want good CAS which makes the F-15E look really good.
I know that, you can also look at italian Sabre that sits at 0.3 br above F-86A-5 despite being same thing but without slats.
Actually all 13.0 F-15s have something different from each other, so moving one down while keeping others up would be easier than Corsairs. Sure it’s still bs, but gaijin could at least make some statements based on that.
At 12.7 you will most likely get constant downtiers into 12.0 premim horde. So yeah, use it while it lasts, maybe it will actually force gaijin to think again about this absolutely reasonable and totally understandable decision to move Eagles to 12.7

yes. you will get used to defending fox 3 and the F-15E isnt going to be doing too well even with 14.7 decompression

Yes that is true, though looking at each one the main difference between F15A and Baz, is that the Baz gets the python 3. Though its the F15A and F15J that has differences, F15J gets AAM-3s which are slightly better than the Aim9Ms though in return gets slightly worse flight performance as the F15J is based off of the F-15C instead of the F15A. Like the tradeoffs are so minimal that there wouldn’t be much reason to even separate them in terms of BRs.

It’s still more difference than between Corsairs, or Sabres that’s what i am saying. Current F-15 placement is not US main skill issue in my opinion, but Eagle fanboys skill issue. Similar to Tiger fanboys in ground battles, muh “superior tech”
Honestly, if this br change will persist until i get my hands on F-15A (currently i am going trough Rank 6) i will sweat the absolute hell out of F-15A
I can see the argument you are making, though I feel this is different due to Statshark and Thunderskill, in Statshark, the F15J has a 49.5% win rate and 1.05 k/d, Baz at 49.7% win rate and 0.91 k/d and then the F-15A at 46.8% win rate and 0.84 k/d.
Meanwhile in thunderskill, the F-15J has a 50% win rate and 1.82 k/d, and the F15A has 46.12% win rate and 0.84 k/d (there is no stats for Baz). Like looking at the k/d does show more of a US skill issue if anything, especially when compared to the F-15J.
I will say the main reason that the F-15s are moving down is due to have a win rate below 50%.
Then i hope gaijin will look at Hungarian and Romanian Fulcrums next, with their 48% winrate and not on Russian one that is held at 52% by sheer Russian Bias

overall win, we get a more gulf war accurate hornet, and balance is better. they could give swiss hornet AIM-9P-5 since its got better radar, more CM, better engines

man, I’ve been against giving the Mig 29s R73s forever due to BR compression, but at this point I truly give up considering what’s now at 13.3 and the new nonsense going to 12.7
not bothered by the gulf war stuff personally. I have my pink buccaneer so im already super happy.
stopping 11.7 jets being sealclubbed by such an incredible plane is a huge win.
moving the 12.3 hornets up to 12.7 too (as they are also pretty OP) gives a huge amount more breathing space in an already very horribly compressed BR range of struggling jets
the swiss hornet having better engines is literal p2w or slight nation bias at minumum compared to the american and canadian ones.
getting aim 9L/i or p5 would be a fair tradeoff for that extra boost to power.

yeah there arent really any gulf war accurate jets in the US tree right now, the only close ones dont have 9M’s so the 18C early is pretty ideal for it
