We need a real BR decompression now. Just like Gen 3 Figth againt Gen 3, Gen 4 Early figth againt Gen 4 Early. Some ting like this.

Pretty easy - you just don’t. Or, how my beloved US mains use to say - R-24 worth 2 Sparrows so you have an equal loadout to F-15A (9M is bad so it means it’s as good as R-60M)

The F-18C early should not get 9Ms unless it moves to 13.0, but the F-14s can gt 9Ls/9Ms not change. The Mig-29 should lose R-27ERs in exchange for R-73s.

there is a vague chance of evading 9L, there is no chance in evading ASRAAM. Tho realistically neither should exist in such conditions, aircraft designed to be a CAS platform with missiles as a mean of self-defence should not be more effective than an air superiority fighter

and if im defending against an F-15J at practically the same BR in a Tornado. Im gunna need something more than 2x Aim-9Miss

Not really, you are pretty much 50% of F-15J (2 IRCCM vs 4 IRCCM).

Aim-9M vs AAM-3. Not too mention the SARH as well and the massive difference in FM

Maybe next time pick something that isn’t a CAS platform? Tornado is not supposed to be a fair matchup agains F-15J.

Identical seeker and IRCCM, AAM-3 has more range due to better retention and that’s it

If BR is dictated almost entirely by its A2A performance, then it is relevant. Otherwise why is it not 11.7 alongside the RET8?

Though how about F4EJ Kai being only 0.3 lower?

and actually decent dogfight performance with 10 extra G of pull

thats a closer fight than the other 2 imo. but its still hopelessly compressed and they somehow made it worse while raising top BR.

wait, isnt SM2 going to be 14.7 so it cant even see MKK’s?

RB is not dictated entirely by A2A peroformance otherwise F-15J would not be going down to 12.7

Certified gaijin moment, same as MiG-29 being same 12.7 BR with 2 missiles.
