Off-topic/General chat for Britain

False. Sadly.
We currently have no other sub-tree than India and South Africa.

Was it confirmed? I was under the belief that Aus/NZ vehicles placed in the UK tree were only there because that’s who they brought the equipment from, not because they were a sub-tree.

Which sadly allows for us to be split across multiple trees, the worst possible fate for any nation in WT.

Neither, Australia/ANZACs or Canada are sub-trees of the UK. So that isn’t a reason.

Also I said it before but the Sabre Mk 4/Sabre F 4(CL-13Mk 4) was built to British specifications, meaning it wouldn’t exist without the UK, so trying to argue “uniqueness” verses a vehicle that exists because of the UK, is not great.

Nope, the only confirmation we have is Gaijin will put their tech wherever they feel like, which is sad news.

Yas and no, older additions where tech rules still existed then yes, nowadays not so much if it fills a hole in the tree the that UK can’t and is picked over other Commonwealth nations then it’ll go to the UK, else it’ll go wherever.

I 100% agree, it’s a fate I wish on no one.

I believe my list of ideal treatment in WT was this

Independent TT
Nothing in game
Sub-tree
.
.
.
Being ripped across TTs.

Sub-trees would be higher if they got a rework to something like this: Subtree Rework - Nation Folders

As of right now they don’t exist to represent the sub nation but anything but that, with it primarily buff the host tree with the least amount of work.

I get their reasoning when they were new, and isntead we got the Hunter.

But these days, it just feels a little petty.

Their reasoning that “that area is full” is dumb.

At this point it’s any excuse to keep the British nerfed and underpowered.

Yeah…

Where did it come from, do u know?

As in where did it originate? Britain never got hands on T80U directly as far as I am aware.

Directly from Russia?

Yes, 5 where purchased, 1 kept, 1 donated to the US, the last three unaccounted for.
They where purchased through series of shell companies “for Morocco”, at a price tag 5 million USD each.

Bovington probably has them somewhere :D

That is quite low for an MBT of that level for sale, even if it was 5 million back then. I mean in 1989 an ABRAMS for US army was 4.8. Kind of shows the economy back then.
