got the 27K recently, is it worth Spading?
are the KAB500L worth it or do I have to use the same laser the 27M has for Kh25?

T-90M will probably much be a different T-80BVM. Which will likely be slightly worse.
Su-24 will hopefully come eventually. Although it’s in a weird place. Closest equivalent is the B-1.
I wonder if they ever just play around with the Matchmaker to get data for specific maps

I am working on spading it, or at least getting it far enough to get the 500L, that’s basically the only difference. The K has an internal IRST, so it locks targets, and has an even better image quality imo, for Kh-25 work. When I get further I’ll post an update in Off-Topic.

I’m not sure what they’re familiar in. Very different dimensionally and in payload/speed. Su-24 is definitely analogous to F-111, and the M variant isn’t such a game breaker either.
who would compare a B-1 to a Su-24?

I did by accident. I completely forgot that the F-111 had modernization rather far out enough to receive tv-guidance.
So I figured the Su-24 was in between the F-111 and B-1A.

Plus Soviet TV guidance, afaik, even on the Su-24M is not going to have thermal vision. Maybe the FAB-500Kr can loop through the bomb’s TV lens, but not from a targeting pod, so lasers are all going to be done electro-optically through the in-fuselage camera. I don’t know if it’s all that different even from the 27K. I believe it might have a better FOV and maybe zoom, as dimensionally, it appears larger, but that’s going to be it. TV bombs are all right, but Laser with target lock seems to be more reliable from what I’ve seen.
I didn’t know what you were referring to, hence I just posted what I did. From a capabilities standpoint, the SU-24 is probably more advanced than the F-111A, but the SU-24M is on par, or possibly behind the F-111F from the little I know about the F.
Also, I’m one mod away from laser bombs on the K, so I’ll give my opinion on those soon too.
