Yea I’ve been playing a lot of Battlefield 1942 recently
the old one? honestly I think they should’ve gone to the winter war
im actually really annoyed by Bf V completely ignoring the Eastern front and winter war

Yea same I leant that BF 2042 had two maps remade from 1942 and that almost got me to buy that until I learnt it was like 2 years ago and not done anything more on it.

I don’t actually have any of the really old ones sadly, but imo after Bf 1 the series went downhill, Bf V and 2042 completely took it down now

Agree though since BF 1942 is now abandoned-were or what ever it’s call so if you do your research you should be safe find a online copy
