Those symbols don’t exist to specifically show copy pasted vehicles, they are ingame to make it easier to identify a vehicles nation when the vehicles designation doesn’t make it clear

I don’t understand why the US and USSR need 4 distinct TT classes of top tier ships when some nations do not even have one 7.0 despite the option being there.
Furthermore, we got told (and this is fair) that the reason the UK did not have a top tier fighter is because we didn’t make enough. Britain outweighed the next 3 navies combined between 1914 and 1941 so why do we have the least amount of top tier battleships. They set a precedent and then haven’t used it.
France has 2 good new class options to give them a worthy 7.0 ship, neither are in-game, Germany has run out fair enough. Italy doesn’t really have a good option anymore again fair.

That’s just a shitty excuse. They told us long time ago that we don’t have as much gift as Germany for ground because we don’t make that much ; “your country just had to build more lol” some people told me in the old forum. Guess what, from the Cold War and modern times, France built more functional/proto/pre-prod vehicles than Germany, and yet we still don’t get as many as they do. That’s just a BS excuse.
2 ? Because yeah we have the Dunkerque class (i would put the Dunkerque at 6.7 (because bad armor) and the Strasbourg at 7.0 because it’s a way more armored Dunkerque, but what is the other class? Normandie is not worth 7.0 i think. Lot of guns (3x4) but armor and speed are not that great afaik.
And if you talk about Richelieu class (Richelieu and Jean Bart), yeah i really would love them but they would kick anything in the current WT sea afaik, so not for today.
Add: Also you talk about Germany need more but i don’t agree. They already have the most unicorn ships of the game for now with magic armor…

Phantoms with Js? You mean the EJ Kai? The only Phantom with Js at rank 8?
There are only 2 rank 8 Phantoms, the EJ Kai and the Kurnass 2000.
If you are talking about AIM-9Ls, the EJ Kai is rank 8 because it has a BR of 11.7, the Kurnass 2000 got moved there after a recent rank rearrangement (it was 11.7 for quite a while as well)
I’m perfectly fine with the US and USSR outweighing the UK in GRB and ARB. They built more tanks and planes. But in naval, it’s an insult, an utter insult. They don’t have even one class between them between 1900 and 1950 that the UK didn’t have a laid down equivalent for.
That’s as may be but it makes sense to a degree. But it also sets the precedent that those that build more, get more. Somehow the only 7.0 the UK has is the Hood, what about Queen Elizabeth, Revenge, Erin. All would do fine at 6.7-7.0.
Yeah Dunkerque and Strousbourg (lumped as one class although i’d they’d be at different BR’s) and Normandie at 6.7. Generally i class top tier as 6.7-7.0 as in naval they’re virtually the same BR.
I think the big naval nations should all have full top tier (6.7-7.0) lineups and by that I mean three ships between the highest BR and the next down, yes Germany has an immensely powerful tree but they were a big nation too (until WW2) in the future they will find themselves with less choice.
You could say the same thing about Russia despite their navy being… less than stellar (they literally massacred a British ship donated to them).
I think where we are now France has the potential to have a ‘full’ top tier lineup. I think the US does, the USSR does Germany does Italy maybe not but that can’t be helped they’re low on ships.
And until we see Iowa and Yamato the UK should definitely be one of if not the fullest tree because we have an equal number of BB’s to be added as the US. Even then we should have the Lion’s in their 1942 design which would outclass the Iowa in certain areas.
France always has been a big naval nations, from age of sails to today, but look at our notEvenHalf TT… x)
Gaijin always gonna go where the money is. That’s why Russia looks like a really amazing navy power right now (specially when you accept for them ships like Kronkast (same things for the yak141)
And saddly, US/RU/GER sells more and attract more player than UK, welcome to the club of the “minor” nations.
True but between WW1 and post WW2 you must admit France did not build Dreadnoughts to the level of the USN, RN and IJN. However you did build to the level of Germany and above that of Italy.
If they gave the UK its technical or numerical advantage (in terms of classes of ships). Then we would get more sales for them. Unfortunately the UK’s top ships are 20-35 years older than those of the other nations. I’d like to see a Kronshtadt or Scharnhorst face a KGV class which is much, much older than them but would still annihilate them.

Sure we don’t build as much but i think we have enough to stay “alive” in the game, whatever the era/meta.
Just give me Richelieu class to kickass all those Germans feeling invincible because they have seen midnight historical docs on the Bismarck :p
And i would be happy with that till we got more modern ships (if bluewater dont stop after late ww2 BBs) when France could also stick to the meta without problem and bring nice beauty.

just tried grinding the TOG II on my emergency laptop, ulq, 20fps and at McDonalds. After some 1DL 279 gameplay with just barrel and breech torture and 900 score event progress, I buy the star now.
I don’t think we have a Big 3 in Naval, honestly I believe Britain and Japan are so close to the usual 3 that they aren’t treated as Minor nations there, it’s really just Italy and France that are smol and of cause Sweden and chins without a navy

Is that 18 Radar assisted AA Turrets on a cruiser?
16 x 127mm AA guns (8 x twin-gunned mountings) along with 20 x 57mm Mod 51 AA guns (10 x twin-gunned mountings).

That thing will always be funny to look at.
Considering Frances preference for cruiser and destroyers over battleships, it would be strange to not add it eventually.
