It’s not a full nation, it’s a SUB nation that’s here for helping a main one. But the main one still is the major nation.
Damn i hate all of these.
I still remember people making fun of France for “being nothing” without the USA vehicles. And now that in the modern era France can be independent and strong on its own, without needing to copy and paste from other nations, it drives me crazy to see people clamoring for French equipment.
It’ll just kill the French tree. Why would people want to grind France if you can find French Mirages in the UK (F1s and IIIs) and Chinese (2000-5Fs) tree, plus UK/Chinese/American vehicles next to them?
That’s what I find so disgusting about these subTT ideas. France already isn’t played that much, and you want to kill it off even more by giving away what makes it unique on other TTs.
Tell me, why someone would grind France for its current Mirage 2000-5F if it’s going to China and on top of that you’ll have F-16s and their latest J-H7/other homemade stuff in the same TT ?
If that really happens, well, I hope we get Belgium and Switzerland as sub-TTs, and we get F-16s, F-18s and more, not to mention leopards, because logic will have gone out the window.
With there last F-7H wich seem to be a really good plane, and F-16, they don’t need something that is the unique plane from another main nation. You see my point ?
The problem isn’t the choice of vehicles to add (otherwise the French tree would be bigger than the majority of other TTs) but the fact that I’m sick of seeing what makes this tree unique and interesting go to other trees that already have their own gear or already have US help.
France don’t need subTTs for cold war/modern era at all. Number of stuff possible to come is still really really big.
If really you want some, Belgium, Swiss… and other can bring some things. But they are not “needed”. (except if i see always French tech going in other TT like it’s the case since years, then yeah, bring me everything i dont care anymore, even this F-15 we trialed, these F-16s/F-18s, these leopards…)
This don’t change the problem if we got other Mirage 2000s variants. You still want to give to a nation (that already have good things) the best tech of another “minor nation”.
I really don’t understand your deep-seated desire to destroy the interest and originality of nations in war thunder by offering copy and paste to everyone, EVEN in cases where it does more harm than good and that it’s useless.
I don’t know to much about the Taiwanese Mirages. But the biggest issue I have is that most of the time export vehicles are given to different nations that are just overall better versions of what they’re originates from.
If France gets an equivalent I won’t care as much.
But he’s right, if to much technology gets passed around the tech tree becomes less and less interesting.
