In their defence, the game pops a giant red wall of text saying you should smoke.
I’ve no idea why it appears for me sometime and why it doesn’t. I guess it’s “time since last ground game”?

Something I just learnt is that the AI planes in WT have a rubberbanding mechanic that allows them to catch up to you, even you are going well beyond their rip speed/max speed. I was on dev, going 1450 IAS in my F-111, and 2 J-8Bs randomly started to go super speed and caught up to me very quickly despite them ripping at 1365 IAS.
This might also explain why AI planes are so fast in ASB.

Yup, they’re governed by time to waypoint rather than physics, and basically sit on rails.

I could imagine ammo would be an issue but would be worth it to see the igla armed ground drone

I should submit a bug report for the repair cost of the P-51D being too low just because of the flaps and the full force of the hydraulic ram behind them constantly beating the crap out of the rear fairings
