Though uptiers will force you to improve I guess, no pain no gain
idk if you can improve in Air RB these days because the skill level is through the floor and the balance is even worse
edit: I only just noticed one of the downtiered 8.3 F-86As was a base bomber

Today I was playing 8.7 and grinding with the twitch drop premium time (i don’t think I can live without it now, my f2p mind has tasted divinity) and I was playing on the map where there is a race to the cap on the hill where you go across an open field. It is like shooting fish in a barrel sometimes, and I said in the chat “FOLLOW ME GUYS, I GOT YOU” and charged with my rooikat across the field while using ESS so the rest of my team would have safe travel.
Anyways, the point of this is that people in the chat were saying stuff like “average rooikat player” and “of course they are level 44”
Is there some kind of stigma or stereotype I should be aware of? I made it across safely, and so did the rest of my team, in my eyes that was a win, and undeserving of any critical comments
You stole the cap they probably didn’t like that. There are some gentleman’s rules in War Thunder: don’t push your teammates in the spawn, let them pass; always say “thank you” when someone helps repair; don’t kill L3s in top or mid tier; use the tow cable to pull immobile allies back into cover; and maybe wait for friendlies to cap a point together if you’re feeling fancy.
I didn’t even steal the cap though, I got sniped after getting 1 kill on an xm803.

Don’t use ESS. It’s never a good idea. I don’t agree with toxic teammates but I sympathize with people getting bent over you using ESS.
