The VT-4A1 is not a good top tier tank, itโs slower than the 99As and the reverse is much worse than even the MBT-2000 for some reason. The 99A is very similar to the WZ1001E LCT. But itโs funny how often Iโve glanced at my tanks damage x-ray during a game and the ERA where the drivers port would be on Russian tanks and the WZ1001 is missing.
If your priority is CAP then you can skip the JH-7, the only reason to get it is for CAS capability with Kh-29Ts, the A2A loadout is underwhelming and donโt even bother with the J-11 line since currently their Avionics (RWR especially) are borderline useless. J-10 is multi-role and has much better avionics so I think it will suit you better.
Itโs hard to recommend which line is the most future proof as youโre at the mercy of what Gaijin decides to add and when. I think Iโd go with the J-10 line, J-11 line has potential with J-11B and J-15s but Iโm also expecting some memes like a very basic Su-30MKK. At least the ROCAF/J-10 tree has also has potential for ctrl c+v F-16V if the J-10C gets delayed for whatever reason.

Estes is a minorly famous brand for making flying rocket models (some assembly required). They are so common in US hobby stores, they are frequently overlooked and run from very cheap to almost seriously expensive.

What maps does everyone have banned, and why?
Iโve banned serversk because it is garbage, and Iโve banned mysterious valley in air because itโs always cloudy (and the clouds are at the most inconvenient height ever).

Golan heights (air spawns)
Unfortunately the devs made 2 Golan heights versions so I banned the more common one. It is an absolutely horrible map for any BR, zero terrain cover whatsoever except for a tiny spot in front of the main airfield on the north side. On top of that the bases are placed in the most obnoxious way so that they funnel your entire team into one area to get decimated by anyone with half a brain. Only good part about it is the funneling happens for both sides so I can get a decent about of kills if I play it right.

This map should be studied as an example of how to not make a map. Iโve had it banned for years now. You know a map is absolute trash when you pick to ban that over Campania.

Berlin or Fire Arc depending on what BR range Iโm playing.
I donโt have any air or ground maps banned.
Seversk/Aral Sea/Abandoned Town
I love taking my MBTs into CQC /s, whichever gets banned depends on which one I get the most while playing
I canโt remember what my Air ban is but it should be Golan Heights, ARB maps in general are quite boring and Golan is flat and boring.
Advance on the Rhine/Normandy/Fields of Normandy depending on whatโs in rotation.
If the game is spamming out Sweden I ban that instead (more than 2 or 3 times in a row)
I generally cannot stand maps with sub 30 second time to contact lmao.
