No, i live as far West as west goes, its just a long trip with little time. Been to the Arquebus museum in Førde and the aviation museum at Sola in Stavanger recently tough. they don’t have much, but what they do have is interesting. Might just take a trip to Oslo later this year
I never intended to visit any Scandinavian country, but my cheapest flight tucket from Croatia to Netherlands had me be in Oslo for 20 hours, so might as well walk around for stuff.
Visited a lot of nice buildings as well as said museum and I will definitely return one day for a longer stay.
The city really managed to impress me and it’s very clean too, which is actually noticeable compared to where I hang around.
I’d definitely recommend the military museum too, it’s quite beautiful and really emphasizes the important parts of Norwegian history such as Denmark-Norway and their wars with Sweden, resistence in WW2 and modern peacekeeping.
You can even enter an NM 135 and see how it is on the inside, which I think you’d have quite some fun with.
