Like I’ve said in my universe because the S&M went bust with the rails ripped up for the war effort.
There was no reason for the T,W&SR to go any further than Wellsworth plus they are already over worked with the mines at Toryreck, Ffarquhar and at Ulfstead while serving the clay pits at Brendam.
