As much as I would like to see what a Rafale+ would look like, having to suck up national pride would be the best decision in the long run.
But I seem to be the minority, even if I think Rheinmetall is near incompetent and is only competitive because of lobbying. Because they somehow have a stake in SCAF.
Aren’t they all
So every US defence company.
Why does wolfpack have a dart with so much pen
Because it went up in br so they gave it its M900 but the Type 16 FPS goes up and doesnt get Type 93
Can the type 16 be killed as easily
Yes actually suprisingly, well by tank rounds, its slightly less suceptible to autocannon
Then it should get the better dart
It should but US Premium bias
Wolfpack is 10.0, Type 93 Type 16 is 9.7, and Type 16 FPS is 9.3.
Type 16s have more ammunition as well which is a bonus many people don’t appreciate until you’re out of 18 rounds.
the game?
i mean at this point it’s not a question of national pride.
Who in their right mind decides to put in charge of the project the two main european competitors when it comes to building fighter jets and goes “yep, sounds like a healthy project” ?
if there isn’t a healthy mindset in the project team, with no trust, no will, no nothing, you can bet the final product isn’t going to meet the expectations…
As for the long run, going alone is a risk, but if Fra can develop its own 6th gen, it for sure gains know-how which can be used in the long run. On a shared project, that know-how gets scattered and you find yourself in a relation of inter dependency.
if the project works, well all good i guess, but i just hope we don’t end up like the EF consortium
As for Dassault, if they complete the project entirely, you can be sure they found their interest, but let’s just say i don’t think they’ll continue, airbus likes to re negociate what was agreed upon at the beginning quite regularly, and the more it tries the more it is shooting itself in the foot
inter dependency is the point of shared multi national projects like these
no the point is shared cost, not interdependency…
but if you want to make 2 competiting companies work together, you can throw in as much money as you want, chances are it will just be a waste in the end, meaning even sharing the cost might end up costlier than doing it alone
Why not ?
It is as big as a house, turns like a truck, mobility is also not that great either.
Also, it has pretty poor gun depression and reverse speed for a light vehicle, while reload speed at 7.5s is also sub-par.
Good luck against the APHE
would have been neat to get but I wasn’t in the mood to grind 35,000 mission score every 2 days
ridiculous
Really in deep view of the EBRC Jaguar for those interested :D
