There’s no such thing as a C&P symbol in War Thunder unless you’re running a modded client.
Leopard 2A4 & 2A6 are unique models not in other tech trees.

Every one of these things (Especially the tech tree ones) are C&P from another tree (mostly US). and almost all have a symbol for the nation the C&P is representing.

Finland is unique, they just did not add any of their unique stuff because easy C&P, the weird T-34 and Pz.4 combos are an example and lets not forget their KV-1 that is in another tree
KW II uses a different turret & hull, M109A1 is a copy paste of the British one [semi-joke], and I haven’t checked M26.
Hellcat Mk2 might not be copy-paste, but that’d require investigation.
Same everything as the F6F-5(Hellcat) in the US tree. Loadout and weapons.

New French M26 is a slightly different turret & hull.
T-34-85 is a slightly different hull.
Those symbols aren’t C&P symbols, they’re national symbols.
Then why isn’t it on the BT-42? Any of the SA tanks? There is only one consistent theme is that it is on C&P vehicles. Or sometimes things that aren’t from that have a different flag but no tech tree but that is even rarer.
BT-42 nor derivatives isn’t in any other tech tree.
All the symbol is doing is being a tool for players to distinguish between tech trees for vehicles that share the same name.
Cause as shown, even non-C&P vehicles have it.
Eland is copy-paste yet doesn’t have it.

None of in-game Phantoms does (with exception being premium F-4S). It’s all F-4C.
also fun fact on windows 11 paint how has the support of transparent backgrounds, tho why would I do that for this
