Last night, a leo a1 took my 292’s apfsds to the side only to yellow his turret ring. My very next shot was to an abrams in the side. Only took out his verticle drive. Nothing else damaged.
Maybe gaijin is balancing out the 292 by increasing gaijin moments for it.
no worries, i shot a 292 twice in the side today, 1st shot only got the turret ring and nothing else somehow
2nd shot went into the fuel tank and it ate the entire shell
At which point i got killed by someone else :D
Gotta love gaijin moments. I am sure the guy in his 292 was not happy when he hit my xm1 only to take out my loader.
I find the 292’s HE to be much more reliabe and fun.
I’d blame someone like him in my team every time I get bombed by CAS because they are responsible for feeding the enemies enough sp to spawn CAS with good loadouts :P

Why do people use thunderskill? Last time I went on it, it said the javelin had a 80% win rate
Probably because the five people on TS who used the Javelin knew what they were doing. It’s a mid jet in an unpopular tree.
And people said DM33 for 2A4 and M833 for M1 at 10.3 is a bad idea lol ofc only brain damage USSR only allow to have something like that in such low BR
M833 would bring the M1 Abrams up to par with the 2A4 and it’s current round. It wouldn’t even make it better than the 2A4, just as an FYI. (Gaijin refuses to add M833 because?)
Probably because there’s zero indication that the M1 needs better ammunition.
It’s among the best, if not the best performing 10.3 MBT in the game as it is.
- The M1 reloads 33% faster than a T-80B, whilst it only has 22% less penetration.
- The M1 reloads 20% faster than a Leopard 2A4, whilst it only has 10% less penetration.
I’d take reload rate over penetration any day of the week given that all three tanks are largely aiming for the same areas anyways.
If enough people pressure Gaijin into implementing M833, I’m just going to sit back and laugh as those people’s faces turn into the Surprise Pikachu meme when the M1 goes 10.7 as a result.

Is it better to have post pen damage than pen?
DM23, 3BM-42 and M774 all have the _longrod modifiers, their post-pen damage is virtually identical.
Regardless, if you’re referring to a difference of APHE and APDS or HEAT-FS, I’d definitely take APHE with it’s superior post-pen damage.
