I highly disagree with your opinion, but I can at least commend you for having integrity to not play/buy vehicles you deem to be OP.
So now I’m experienced because I have lots of battles? You said I’m a bad player. If you put a bad driver in two race cars, it doesn’t matter if one car is significantly better, because their driving is so bad they aren’t able to take advantage of it.
That’s pretty rich coming from you, someone who continues to use faulty logic even when I’ve tried to educate you. Unfortunately it’s proving an impossible task.
lol more elitist rubbish. “assists just mean you’re a bad shot”. Does that include scouting? Or does that not really help your team either?
Link them? I only saw people complaining about them not modelling the SEP armour correctly.
Every man and his dog is currently saying the 292 is too strong for its current rating, except for the usual Vatnikeers. But I’m wrong because my stats are bad. Every single thread about RussianBias, you turn up with the same tired excuses and arguments, like clockwork. It’s honestly miserable trying to interact with you. Is there something wrong with the Russian forums?..Have you considered going to them instead?
Here’s my stats for the fairest example I have. Top tier MBTs that can’t be uptiered, I’ve never used for just getting into CAS etc, and I wouldn’t have just been zombie grinding with them as they’re not prem.
BVM massively OP compared to the 2E and BN. Now what’s the excuse, that I’m such a bad player I just can’t get the British tanks to work?
One significantly better car will perform better even in bad driver hands, than its counterpart simply because of its overal superiority.
Scounting exists, yes. But if you have many assits in MBT (i dont remember any MBT with scouting), that means that you wasting quite many shots (and time) for a target. Yep, there can be different scenarios, like the one, where you are playing with squadmate and he shots his shell right after you, so all your assits are actually contributes to pretty fast kills. But on bigger picture, that means that you are wasting crucial time and resources in match.
This is simply not true…
You’re either underestimating how easy it is to take a race car around a track, or underestimating what a “bad driver” is.
My favorite is when someone frothing over the T-80s has less than 5k matches and hasn’t touched anything outside of Italy.
Then they call me a Russian main, when my top is Germany. Hell, I’ve played over 800 vehicles… The guy in question barely touched 110.
Anything can perform like shit if you put a chimp behind it… Hell, it takes it billions of times longer to write a Shakespeare play.
Then again, it’s a better car. There’s no way you can substantiate acceleration, top speed, traction, torque, cornering technicals, wheelbase, or drivetrain to be worse due to driver error.
This is also true. No matter how bad someone’s stats are, if they are just pointing out the actual capabilities of the tank it is factual. Everyone seems to think a 10s autoloader is more than enough to balance a round with that much penetration/damage. I personally don’t think it is. It feels like I’m using a pea shooting with L23A1.
This is simply true.
If you are trying to say, that one car, that is superior (more powerful engine, better transmission, hydraulics and etc,), will not perform better than other, that is significantly worse, in the same (bad) hands - i can only say, that you have quite interesting worldview.
292 is definitely a player crutch i wouldnt argue with them anymore
sad to see this game go to those that wanna shoot fish in a barrel its not worth blasting sabaton to anymore
Let’s say we’re talking about a driver who is so bad, they can’t managed to get the car around the track without going off the track constantly and crashing. You think you’ll be able to tell from their laps which car is better?
At that point it just comes down to their intellect and experience / knowledge of the vehicle itself. No amount of gameplay time can help somebody understand how the vehicle itself works and what its capabilities are.
I do, though the primary issue that we face with it is in the basis of the game itself. Team sizes, maps, and general matchmaking haven’t changed since the introduction of it and similar vehicles like it, so you can face teams with upwards of 12-15 Object '292s… What difference does reload make then, when you’re stabfighting them in Sweden or Sun City?
(Pro tip, don’t use L23A1… It’s essentially a worse OFL 120 G1)
If the driver is so bad, then it will be harder to tell, but if we are talking about significant differences - you still will be able to tell, cause the better car (again, significantly better in every aspect), will be more stable, will have better connection with track and etc.
I have to, best round on the Chally DS unfortunately :(
At least I’ve finished grinding the CR3 and can go back to 12.7.
This is actually wrong believe it or not. Take your average driver and give them a Vauxhall Corsa and a Formula 1 car, I guarantee they will be faster in the car they can actually drive. Most people can’t even get into first gear the first time they try to drive a formula 1 car, and they overheat the brakes because they aren’t going fast enough.
First, adding “car, they can actually drive” kind nullifies this though experiment, so no. Either our driver dont know how to drive both or its the opposite.
Second, giving specific cars (actually only one specific car, cause F1 car is a really broad category) kinda nullifies our thought experiment too. Because with specific vehicles we are having cars, that are build for different purposes, hence they are good in their own field and falling off our “significantly better” criteria.
Why? I’ve already highlighted that I’m an awful ground player who has no idea what I’m doing even when I’m not grinding semi-AFK.
It’s not uncommon, even amongst race cars, for the technically best car to be the more difficult one to drive.
Why what? Why our driver is equally bad or good with vehicle?
Because race cars have their specifications and to reach them, engineers sacrificing something/dont invest so much in something. Thats why thought experiment uses abstract “overall signficantly better car”, which is better in every aspect.
whats so damn hard to admit its another asset put out by gaijin that has advantages to keep players playing
thats why they sold its 152mm gun so much
thats why so many grinded for it they thought they were gonna get an advantage because of that (personally i wish i knew about it earlier this month so i could sell it for some decals/decor and a premium account)
IMO, the 292 is under BRed but not broken. It should be 10.3 and that’s kind of pushing it.
I’ll try to be objective here:
Cons:
-Awful reload
-Poor targeting speed
-No smokes
-No therms
-Bad reverse speed (better than T-72 but still bad)
Pros:
-Obviously, amazing round that can pen anything it fights easily
-This thing fights Leo A1A1s in downtiers (not that it has been fighting them, lol)
-Good, but not amazing, armor
-Above average mobility
-152mm obviously spalls incredibly well
-Potent HE round
The reason I say it should be 10.3 is because at 10.7 you have the T-90 which has:
-Better reload
-Significantly better protection
-Only slightly worse mobility
-Better gun handling
-Smoke grenades
-Amazing thermals
-Amazing optics
-Better chemical protection
-An APS (though, admittedly, it’s a bit useless)
EDIT: Yes, 3BM60 has less pen than 152mm APFSDS but honestly it doesn’t matter too much since both rounds easily pen anything they fight
So I think 10.3 would be a much better battle rating for it. It’s not “broken” like some would say. I think a lot of the craze is people seeing their favorite YouTuber sensationalize it for clicks and now they think the entire community believes it shouldn’t have been added and that Gaijin has “muh Russian bias”.
