Object 292 BR

that picture is makin my eye twitch and givin me ptsd

also quit leaking classified info on here to win debates lol (in general)

Funny enough, the 292 is capable enough even going in reverse compared to some other T-series, so it’s really not a valid downside to bring up.

Yeah because it’s prototype of T-80 and that’s the only series where Soviets smartened up and decided that reverse gear is important.

And then… did the opposite again in T-90?

Which is irrelevant since it’s not a T-90.

Altogether the 292 needs to be at 10.7 - Anything lower is unacceptable.

one thing thats weird about the 292 it eats apfsds from the side alot

It is not hybrid, as some old T-80B’s with 16mm addon plates were equipped with Kontakt-1.
That happened in same way T-72A were upgraded to T-72AV.
Thermal is there because theres few T-80B’s that served as test beds for Agava thermal in 1982.

that’s ironic, seeing as that’s one of the main counterpoints to lowering it

still, if I can bag 9 kills in the FV4005, I think people can manage to get 3/4 per game in 292s.

So you do judge a player’s skill on stats too, you’re just strangely picky about which stats you use.

Because someone having 107 kills to 6 deaths isn’t an indication that they might know what they’re doing?

And your stats reflect that.
Therefore, my estimations based on your stats would’ve been correct.

I don’t mind if people want to play this game extremely casually, nor do I mind if someone plays it sweatily 24/7, I just use the stat card in Air RB to see which players I should prioritize, it’s useful info.

In the end it’s really simple: I don’t recall seeing any fantastic players that had awful stat cards, nor do I see any terrible players that somehow have incredible stat cards.

Why you take 1 best game stat and comparing it to average game stat? Either compare average to average or the result of a best game to the result of a best game.

I use common sense to say that, on average, players with much more playtime/experience will have more skill, whereas I disregard kills/deaths as been a perfect representation of ability. If by “picky” you mean “not stupid”, then yeah I agree.

Having amazing stats is generally a good indicator they know what they are doing (assuming they aren’t abusing mechanics/cheating). The opposite is not necessarily true though. Someone having bad/average stats is not proof that they are a bad/average player. I’ve already explained to you why this is the case, and you’ve already demonstrated you can’t properly comprehend it.

You can you tell from my stats that I grind vehicles by playing basically AFK with limited focus on the game? How do you differentiate that from someone who is genuinely just bad at the game?

Regardless of nation I’m generally always one of the top players in my team, if not the top, with my “bad stat card”. I regularly see players with “amazing stat cards” sat on the flanks doing nothing, being ultra-passive, and half way down the scoreboard. I’m guessing those players are like the forum stat-monkies, who value their KD ratio above winning/fun.

Seems like you’re contradicting yourself here.

And I haven’t implied that K/D in a vacuum is a ‘‘perfect’’ representation.

You’re not doing well in games because you don’t pay attention to it, at least, that’s what you said when you told me you’re watching TV whilst playing.
I don’t really care about what the exact reason is, at the end of the day it just shows they aren’t much of a threat.

Plently of people are good at the game without caring about their stat card.

That’s basic T-80 stuff really.

barely played against them so im not aware of it

just saying its weird how a direct side shot acts funny but if the 292 is angled frontally over slightly it goes off like a firework

Fighting the 292 is like fighting any other soviet MBTs anyway. You aim the same weakspots, use the same tactics etc. It doesn’t bring anything else to the table.
Not to talk about some players who have absolutely no clues on how to play top tier.

I agree. I tend to play mbts like they have no armor so i havent changed my play style to combat it. I could see how the 292 would cause issues if your playstyle relies on bouncing rounds.

All my MBTs around the 9 - 11BR bracket have just rather weak armor or in fact no armor in a sense of stopping any anti tank shell. All those Leopard 1 derivatives, Leo2k, Leo2AV, Leo2A4 can be penned by soviet standard shells at any practical range. So this tank with 700mm pen changes exactly nothing. It just doesn’t matter whether my 70mm frontal armor gets penned by 3bm42 or this 700m pen dart.

well it changes that, you are quaranteed to get 2 shots , if they miss first. :D

The only thing that bothers me is simply the plain fact hat russians now … after having just the best in every single category…now they also have the highest penning anti tank shell.

Best chopper, best coastal boats, best ATGM, …best best best…there can’t be a single category in WT, where russians aren’t no.1.
