Object 277 premium when? T58 has been wreaking havoc, T-10M apparently is no match and IS-7 is as rare as hen’s teeth. So can we have the Object 277 next month?

I feel like the T-10M if you get the first shot (you have a stabilizer). Should decimate from the lower plate. Doesn’t it have essentially enough filler to near overpressure if not overpressure post pen?
As long as you use APHE it’s fine if you aim. If you use HEAT and go for the drum, or pizza plate. It’s OVER (or that’s how
I’d imagine it going). If a T58 hits you first I can see that being bad for the T-10M but that can be true for anything tbh. If a Chaffee flanks a leopard 2 and gets the first shot on the side armor. I don’t expect you to be able to counter that. Despite it being a Chaffee.
Not to mention there is a world of difference between these late Soviet prototypes, vs the T58 all it really has is it’s reload. The APHE has terrible pen for it’s BR, the HEAT (no FS?) is below average, HESH… (shall I say more on that?). The armor? It’s only good against sorta high pen conventional AP. It’s an M103 hull, not exactly a T-10M, IS-4M, IS-6, or Tiger II level protection. It doesn’t even have mobility or traverse angles. The only other good attributes would be its turret traverse speed, and suspension not being as bad as the AMX-30. The T58 is no where near powerful as something slightly worse than an Object 279.
There are definitely people who don’t want any of these prototypes regardless of nations ngl. Me personally, I hate when gaijin adds them and lets them have broken damage models (0 spall scenarios to the max) so people can buy it up. They do this with premiums aswell. But it’s usually a prototype from some event, or prem. If they stayed consistent with the damage model logic, & did a better job balancing I wouldn’t care.

You think that having interesting vehicles is bad? or it would change this game to a different one? Besides prototypes, unfinished ones, paper and fictional are completely different things. Not to mention that GJ is already doing bad job in this whole “realism” thing on a mas produced vehicles.
But you know this “there is WOT” thing isn’t a bad idea since Wargaming is treating players really good after they fired Belarusian CEO.

Hm they fired someone important about 3 years ago… I’m not sure who that was, maybe I’m remembering something wrong.
But point still stands, the most western branch of WG had control players were treated better.
All this thing is more or less side note.
I would love to see this or the object 770 added. Preferably both though. With this armor profile, would it sit at 8.7 or 9.0 BR?

Where would it be placed? I see it as better than the IS-7 so 8.7 but with it’s mobility and frontal armor i could see it being added to 9.0 with the 279.

Gaijin would probably sell this as a T58 rival.
Recent completely unnecessary “rant” of some content farmers on easy cash grab copy paste premiums would lead to more unique vehicles being premiums

If the Object 277 were added to the game, it would likely sit at a BR of 8.7 to 9.0. Since HEAT rounds and APFSDS darts are already ubiquitous at this BR bracket, I believe it would not cause significant disruption to game balance.
Given how expensive and rare the IS-7 and Object 279 have become, adding either the Object 277 or Object 770 to the tech tree or as a premium vehicle would be an excellent alternative for the broader heavy tank enthusiast community.

Why would it be a higer BR than T-10M and IS-7?
If it ever gets added, its BR is obviously up to Gaijin. But with performance sitting right between the IS-7 and Object 279, I’d expect it to land somewhere around 8.7–9.0 BR.

More heavily armoured than the T-10M, better armed than both and significantly more mobile than both. It’s just plain better.

A simple way to think about it is they’re generic designs but have similar ability to the 279.
