Instead of only having access to a specific plane to use as a nuclear bomber in Ground Realistic Battles, why don’t we give all nuclear-capable aircraft in War Thunder the ability to use nukes instead? I know it’s a big undertaking but imagine using your F-15 or F-16 to finish the round.

Sound nice ngl its also makes way more sanse for some nation to nuke with their own planes insted of a jaguar

Sure, having the nuke as a load out option that any plane that was nuke capable that you could equip with enough SP would be cool, Probably don’t want to have it being able to be set in a custom load out though, trying to intercept a nuke slinging out ARHs as its incoming might be a bit much.
Edit: Just had a thought, what if you could equip the nuke in a custom slot that’s only accessible in GRB so you could load up on ARHs etc, but when the nuke is pulled the “hot key” is displayed for ALL players and both teams can pull their planes (as long as they have the SP and in a pure A2A load out of course) in a scramble and attempt to escort or destroy the nuke carrier? If the nuke hits the game ends, if its shot down all players that where not in planes when the event started are returned to their tanks as they are in arcade, if you pull the plane for the event it doesn’t get SP increase if you pull it later.

Ok, but what about people who haven’t grinded Air tech trees to that extent? Its not very fair…
They could have definitely updated the nuke carriers to something more modern that’s for sure. I think both F-16 and MiG-29 are actually nuke capable carriers?

the current system can be left in for people that have no air, or play nations that dont have nuke capable aircraft, like in naval, you can pull a default plane or your own.

grind air tech trees to that extent so it’s fair lol. keep the stock vehicles that are already available, but if your plane is capable then you know. take it.
F-15, F-16 and F-18 are all nuclear-capable. not sure about F-14. Phantoms might have been nuclear-capable, Tigers too.

While I don’t often play ground forces, I recognise such a need as the default nuke aircraft are terrible but I’ve been saying similar for over a year now as it would be a boon to so many players & make it more interesting with certain aircraft.
We’ve already got similar in two modes, with the drone as a default CAS platform in GF while players can use their aircraft with their loadouts & while in NF there’s a default antishipping & CAP loadout as default while players can bring their aircraft.
An added option or just an opinion maybe even a slight designation change per aircraft when equipped with a nuclear weapon, e.g: the French Dassault Mirage 2000D which if equipped with a custom load with a nuclear weapon would becomes the Mirage 2000N.
Although in some places I’ve said similar I’ve been heckled for even mentioning such, even if you leave the default aircraft for those without an air tree researched.
