They need to add proper ordinance RCS, the fact that the ancient OSA radar can pick up a missile at 10km from front aspect is insane. Goes for ground rb too with GBU-39 and such, those should not be picked up at distance with anything but the most powerful radars.

I like the variety you can get with non-preset vehicles, but everyone should absolutely be on a relatively even playing field, even if they have never grinded USSR/USA air before.
They could allow jets from other nations, when they’re either ru or us airframes.
I like the event currently as is, I don’t have Russian Air, and the vehicles I do have are not useable.
It would be nicer to maybe add a MiG29 to the preset and an F15/F16 with sparrows to the preset as well.
I kind of like using the A6 I hope that’s one that comes back or gets a tech tree variant
There really is no variety though right now
All the planes that people are allowed to bring could just be part of the preset and the matches would look roughly the same, except that the USSR side now would have a lot more players and a better chance of not getting stomped

because people like unique planes? They are pretty easy to obtain so not even a problem there
I like collectin unique planes, even If I don’t fly them on the daily, I wonder how some people that only see planes as purely PVP tools keep playing the game.
Either let everyone use 4th gens as part of the presets or don’t let anyone bring them

would be a good fix to just give all those f15’s and mig29’s ngl , however i don’t think it would be an 100% fix , but def better than how it is rn

With variety I meant that I can choose to play my F-14, F-15 or F-18 depending on what I like best, or what fits the situation. Restricting it to (current) preset vehicles would remove that. However adding them to the preset would be great!

I don’t know, I don’t care about KD for this event.
I’ve noticed until Escalation 2, people will just use the preset planes from that point on. Its only for the first 15 mins where people are using their own planes.
Like I said, currently for me personally I don’t really care about what planes I go against, most people playing the event aren’t very good at air at least the matches I’ve played.
From the limited amount that I played this morning It had good characteristics for dodging and I also I am eager to test the ARMs but I think overall the A7 has the better kit having a gun and access to the aim9 and the ARMs
When everything other nation is mixed, why must it remain Russia vs. USA? It screws the whole thing up and defeats its own purpose >:(
The reward is the issue. The russian Tupolev is not even half as sexy than the Strato.

It would be an overall better experience if everyone had access to all relevant planes and it would make more people queue for the USSR lol
The flight model for me was very janky. Like it wasn’t flying right for me at all.
This has got to be the least fun April fools event ever. Felt like I spent two hours banging my head against a brick wall 😐
You clearly didn’t play the WW1 event last year lol. That was miserable.

The WW1 event was more entertaining than this sensory overload ARB lite madness. It was unbalanced too but at least they didn’t allow Tiger 1s and Shermans to against AV7s and MK IV tanks.
