They practically burn until they detonate, so they’re very maneuverable the entire time. If you want to dodge them you have to trick them like IR missiles. That isn’t reliable however…
Messing with AF positions worsened life of subsonic things. Plus no solution of magic buk and saclos aa. And player kill reward reduction was unnecessary. Not to mention weapon and platforms disbalance which remains mostly unchanged since beginning

That’s a difficult proposition since they are littered everywhere on the enemy side and have a decent range. Is there truly no reliable method to defeating them?

Gaijin always has to overcompensate. They just can’t do moderate changes.

There would be if they used the radar, but they’re aimbotting, so no.

Yes and no. There are some positively idiotic ideas and demands.
If you’re trying to kill the Osas, line them up before you get within 10km, wait until they fire, fire back at them and pull off until your missile hits and they die (AGM-88’s are best for this)
Thank you ruining almost everything that was fun about the event, without truly addressing how broken the OSA/FlaRak have been during this event. Instead it was the ‘airfield camping’ that was super rare, and people getting strategic nuke ‘too fast’ that was the problem.
Clearly, you guys just hate when people are enjoying the event. Can’t have too much fun, right? The rewards were definitely the problem, right?
It truly does amaze me, how you guys can see majority of the player base having fun, and decide lets just ruin it without addressing anything.

Hey, i just saw that now it is almost impossible to dodge the OSA AKM missiles, i mean, i fly low, i spam chaff and flares and even like that ut hits me, the only way im having to survive is destroy her missiles with my gun or with an aim9L is that normal? I mean, the OSA is not that good in real matchs idk why is that op now, when the event started it wasnt tbis op im sure about that

Also the flarak, it is also acting like the OSA for some reason

Its a scripted death, which probably explains why you don’t get any score when you die to an OSA/FlaRak.
Ohh… Atleast,tomorrow is the last phase, im not playing this mode never in my life again i think i miss old ARB ngl
Yeah, they have a 6th one for extra mods, but I’m not GEing or playing it. I’m assuming after tomorrow, the player count will drop by a lot for it.
If they don’t revert the last changes tomorrow a lot won’t play as well, I won’t for sure. It would be good if tomorrow NOBODY will, so they maybe understand, but I highly doubt that will happen.

Go watch Hunter’s video on using them. The tldw of it is you wait for the OSA/Flarak to shoot at you, then lock and fire your harm at them and turn away without flaring. Let it chase you and your missile will kill them before theirs hits you, where it will then lose lock and you can pull away. It’s a slow process.
The better way to take them out is to just kill a few planes and then get the mini nuke and hit the spaa zones with them.
