Agreed. Flakrad and OSA’s moving at 40mk/h with undeployed radars shooting me down at ground level.

SPAAs are too strong. Game would indeed benefit from removing OSA and Flarak.
Soo you basically have a SPAA trowing missiles at you at 75km/h without stopping
and with a single update gaijin has made the mode more annoying to play.
increasing SP cost for small/medium nuke when SPAA is overperforming like crazy was definitely an option.
Moving the mid airfield so far back that its pointless to use it was also a choice.

If the problem was loose the 1 airfields just make the airfields inmortal
And give better SPAAs to the airfields for have less spawnkill
I think the game is now more balanced between air combat players and ground attack/SEAD players. The SPAA is as oppressive as ever, but can still be taken care of by planning the approach on the map. Ironically using ARMs/unguided rockets for the regular osa/roland’s might be better, because nuking the depots makes them respawn everything while just taking down the spaa leaves them without air cover.
Increasing the distance between airfields just slowed down the gameplay and made non supersonic aircraft that less desirable. I think every player would prefer If all 3 forward airfields were moved a bit closer to speed up the start of the game, and that the depots took a LOT longer to rebuild themselves after being nuked so that you can get actual air combat without being pressured by osa/roland in the later stages of the game - if you made the nukes more expensive, might as well make them more worth it…
If buk fires missile without radar ping (which is common situation at coast) you are dead in most cases. It doesnt ping rwr and it ignores notch and chaff, both strats work if radar pings you
its not only the buk, its all missile systems with their broken ai
Yeah the AI is OP also on naval they are like snipers against planes

I can only speak about buk because I only played soviets yesterday as mig23mld coastal patrol without going too deep inside enemy territory. Played as us rest of time

Oh yeah it’s not about going after the HAWK’s themselves directly, its about trying to go after the front line SPAA’s. Also, how did you kill the HAWK’s? Nuke? Did you get the nuke with air to air kills?
That’s the problem. For those who want to do SEAD work/ground pounding from the start of the mission, the HAWK’s and OSA’s are making it impossible.
Lobbing a nuke of course works (if that is what you used.) It’s the ARM’s that are even more useless than before today’s patch.
Man if they don’t fix the SPAAs now or extend the time of this phase I will don’t do It is just suffer against SPAAs that see me trough trees and mountains

I feel like the biggest issue is there testing EW and ARH but not really committing to it. Why bother giving us SEAD without jamming? The AA is able to perfectly intercept missiles so the ARH missiles are useless.
Its just too risky to bother doing SEAD, much better to farm kills and chuck a nuke.

Yeah now is harder get nukes because that
multipathing the BUK over the water has gotten me a 90% survival rate.
The coastal side is pretty much free, especially if you nuke the BUK and S-300 site there asap. it’ll give you a free corridor/springboard.
