As a US main,i can say the F4E its a lot worse than the Mig23
And as someone that played both planes, I can say that they are on equal footing in this mode thanks to the addition of AIM-9Ls on the F-4E

Issue is that you effectively can use half of that. So its 4 9ls.
Average player will quickly realize its radar isnt doing the job, pick mig23mld with mti instead and start having fun hammering phantom e with r24rs

Works good enough to get kills with r24rs. Also phantom e doesnt even get that.
The only kills ive gotten with the 9Ls on the F4E was either afk people running straight or once where somehow i snapped one dude randomly mid dogfight,never somewhere else
Which cant be said for the Mig23
Snap head on missile if it hits i change target instantly…if it doesnt i force turn fight,win the turn fight and the guy is dead and i go for the next till i got no more missiles
The F-4E carries 8 missiles, 4 IR and 4 SARH, the MiG-23ML carries 6 missiles, 4 IR and 2 SARH (or more IRs and less SARHs, if you choose a different loadout)
Yea and due to people flying low you wont be able to use sparrows in most encounters because radar simply cannot get lock. You are left with 4 9ls and gun
that is also the same case using the mig23, R24 dont magically ignore multipathing
Which btw if you get into the mid fight initially you will get more TKed by Aim9Ls locking you instead of the enemy than enemy killing you
Same goes for R-60Ms
That’s a matter of your skill compared to that of another persons skill, a F-4E can do the same in this mode
yeah but with the BUK with 3000 KM proxy range and S300 its a rare occassion to dogfight before you get imploded by said SPAA
this argument will go back and forth, they are equal in this event, most scenarios stated by both of you apply to both jets most of the event

Lofting r24r reduces chances of successful multipath. I had few people multipathing it but rest just get sandwiched
Well yeah, I already said that the F-4E and MiG-23MLD are equals in this mode
that is only the case if they arent below 55~ meters, 40 and below no chance of a hit
Tho the R60 have more G force pull meaning it will still do better than an Aim9L,just sayin

The Aim9Ls should be around 20-25G and R60 its 30Gs
