Hello @BVVV_d , I think the best next step for improvement would be to tweak the AI SPAAs with their missile spams and the almost perfect tracking, which seems to be mostly immune to dodge tactics, flare or chaff unless you have a very fast jet and can change your heading in the ideal moment so the missile can’t adjust to the new interception path. Even the BMP-2s managed to shoot me down under 3km range at almost Mach 1 while struggling to dodge the OSA-AKMs.
The same issues with SPAAs are on Air Simulator and Helicopter EC mode. On Heli EC is especially bad at the low BR bracket, because many starter helicopters with no ATGM over 3km range can’t deal with the Gepards that will 1-shoot you as soon as you are within the 3km death radius.
If this mode will be avaiable with some changes in the future, I would love to see the mode still with the BR brackets, so you get a more historic gameplay. Maybe even with different maps for different oposing enemies.
Also what I would love to see in the future would be some more additional planes with special loadout. I could see for example the Bombers not only with Nukes but maybe with cruise missiles like the AGM.86C CALCM on the B-52 or the AGM-158 JASSM on several planes.
Not exactly. You go along the water flank. Very low. You fly past the first airfield near the shore and then turn towards the main central frontline air field. There is no SPAA. Just an radar antenna you might strafe. Its clear of NPCs and usually clear of players. With SU-24 you just need to fly low with 1350km/h. Remove chaffs for more flares and you can lol your way until you drop and nuke the AF (either suicide at low alt or climb up to 4000, drop using the reticle, turn away and dive down). Aim-9L cant harm you. Sparrows won’t work low alt. You just need to dodge guns, which is easy with 1360 km/h top speed. This is always the most important move. The second this airfield gets deletet (often with alot player jets on and near to it), the match is almost decided.
It is simple why this is the case, only a single mach 1 capable nuclear dropping plane, which is the f4e, while russia gets 2, with both of them being very good machines in their own right.
if they added other machines that could drop nuclear bombs that wasn’t a complete disadvantage to try to do, it would be better than the USA going for plane kills and be actually trying to destroy objectives…
i actively avoid doing nuclear objectives with USA it is pointless with certain players on the enemy team…
the 9m is better against soviet planes with low flare counts, more missiles is almost always better than better missiles 2ERs means that wasting a shot on a multipathing target hurts a lot more than with 4 7ms
Yes 12.0+ isn’t worth it anyway (in general in game it isn’t imho) , since things barely work above.
I played 2 games in 12.0+ and having to readjust the radar because it was stucking ALWAYS and in everything i did , i just wanted to break the screen and buy a ticket to Hungary if you get me…
30 years the same thing and they don’t fix it and no i don’t want to make it work around , i want to play the game , not work around the bugs thank you.
And it’s the opposite from the soviets that i can’t get a low tier game… which means i will skip them altogether.
GJ is a very thoughtful company in what they do… they don’t have a clue about balance and gameplay …
Only against braindead enemies. I don’t die to the 9L, only to Aim-7Fs and R-24Rs. But R-60s and 9Ls? I can count on my hand the amount of times I die to that in a session. Avoiding the guns is easy too.
I asked over in the rumour thread but thought why not here too… as the event planes are rank VI, does that not mean they wont get air spawns in Air RB? AFAIK other bombers also follow the airfield only rule for spawning in if they are rank VI afaik.
Queue for the lower bracket. Don’t put any planes in your lineup above 11.3 or 11.7 The other option is to queue in with 0 planes and just use the built in planes. The wait time for US is almost instant if you do that.
