Will it even be possible to get the B52 with queue times like this?
I guess small portion of feedback I can give right now is about the 3 strong radars connected to the further back Air Defense system such as the Patriots and that is that you can shoot at them and you can see the parts getting blacked out but they don’t get destroyed, I would argue those radars would not survive getting sprayed by 23mm cannons and the game does recognize that yet they don’t get destroy and somehow still work making it so you can only bomb them but again conventional bombs seem extremely weak on this mode for some reason, I also tried to tackle the HAWK clusters which are fairly packed and close together with two FAB 1500M bombs but I got 9 “hits” with those massive bombs landing perfectly on the cluster, I get you guys want us to use the nukes but the conventional bombs seem hilarously underwhelming on this mode for some reason besides SPAAs and short range AA intercepted all the bombs flawlessly too

Works very well for me, people are not very good at dodging missiles in this event.

Personally I hope that we see Buk-M1/ItO-96 added as playable vehicles sometime soon with their appearance in this gamemode, I’d love to see a playable Hawk as well even if that means stationary launchers tbh. Could be interesting to use.
I mean didn’t devs think about this? They just made an event enjoyable for high tier players and left low tier players on the their mercy
All you gotta do is run IR all aspect and catch them slipping other than that close the gap

Yes, absolutely. Check out the reply I made just above 😉 You REALLY want to setup CCRP. Especially for dropping nukes once you build up enough Spawn Points.

The Premium F-4S is probably a good one to test. As you will be using the built in F-4E to drop nukes anyway: F-4S Phantom II | War Thunder Wiki
Yeah you get an absurd advantage as a high tier player, and that is not even counting the difference in experience. Low tier players need better default planes for sure.

The CCRP video is 5 mintues long. The event matches last up up 1 hour 30 minutes. You have time to watch a short video. If you want enough mission score to get the event planes you are going to save hours and hours of time watching a 5 minute video.
You are going to struggle immensely trying to use the nukes in the event without using CCRP.
And CCRP makes using dumb bombs much easier too. You can set the CCRP point on the map. Fly low until close, hold bomb release button, angle up sharply. Once bombs release, turn hard, dump chaff and FLY AWAY.

It’s very possible to do in one game (1h), but you’d need to be like top ~30% of the team I think. As someone new it might be 2 or even 3h.

By 1:02:49 in the US queue, the USSR mission is already done.
