The only other event I have grinded is the R400 one and it had ridiculous mission point requirement for each stage ngl
Really happy they didn’t made it like 35,000 mission points each
if the br stays the same the naval battle EC will be interesting if this allows

It’s not that hard IF you build up to 250 Spawn Points to bring in the small nuke, fly towards enemy territory locate one of the supply Depots / fuel depots, set your CCRP point in the middle of one of those depots. Get within about 5 km, pull up sharply while holding the CCRP bomb release button, wait for the new to release Turn Away dump chaff.
Go back and land, grab another nuke, repeat until you get 500 spawn points. Then, spawn in the medium nuke and try to bomb one of their air Fields if possible. If there’s too much enemy air cover just keep bombing those Supply depots.
You really only start to get a lot of mission score points when you start using the nukes. That is why it is so important to spend a little bit of time setting up CCRP. It is totally possible to finish one task in one or two missions if you can keep running nukes.
Without using CCRP, you are going to die to your own nuke almost every time you try to drop. Thus, losing all of your spawn points, which will prevent you from getting another nuke. When you land and rearm you get another nuke without using more spawn points.

If you’re able to drop the nuke and not die to it (I recommend an immelmann) and rtb to rearm you get another nuke for no sp

Is it possible to rearm the B-52? I’ve tried to land it once but it’s impossible to bleed enough energy.

I don’t know but I know the su24 and f4 are good for dropping the 30kt and getting TF out of there
Guys, just a quick question within the Events topic.
Does this ‘April 1st event’ count as a normal event ? Because we recently had one where we unlocked a WW1-era American ship, the USS Oklahoma.
The next event would usually be a ground vehicle, so I’m wondering is this current event where we’re unlocking nuclear bombers considered a normal event, or are we still going to get a separate ground event alongside it ?
Normally there’s a 1-2 week break before the next event is announced after the previous one ends, and well… I’m hoping for a tank.

I gave it another go with much greater success :) but still F-4E’s radar is trash so it’s still incredibly grindy. USSR was ok tho.

The queue times are just the same on EU servers in my experience the US side you have to wait a long time to get a game while USSR it immediately places you in a match lol
Honestly this year is way too grindy. Mission points has been nerfed and mission points increased as well. Last year it was only 5000 and I don’t think there were any nerfs in mission points. Furthermore, this year’s respawns cost money so it’s actually stressful.
Overall, fun event but still a bit high cortisol lol. But definitely would want to keep this event! :)

One last question, what preset aircraft do you recommend (both US and USSR)? Do all of them get CCRP?
honestly it depends, best practice is after 5-15 minutes just restart the queue

For me USA was pretty fast but most of the time was an already started game.
I’ll keep that in my mind for tomorrow and hopefully it works because I couldn’t play US at all right after getting the first US Task done, it all have been USSR games lol
