Can the USSR get the SU-27 since the US side gets f-14s, f-15s, f16s, and f-18s? I think its a bit unfair that they get all those great aircraft but USSR basically only gets the mig-29.
The Russian side is way easier to play than the US. sparrows suck, so the Russian r27er is the best missile in the event.
Mig29 with 2 R27 and 4 R73 dominates. Yak 141 as well

The USA may get better planes in some aspects, but russia is definitely the better side to have in this game mode. In the lower bracket the mig23 is very much usable and usually better than the f4’s, and the mig 29 is definitely the better option in the higher bracket. The OSA’s are so much better than the flarakrad and then the buk on top make it very difficult to even get close to the main centre bases. Meanwhile in Russia they can go directly to the centre base with no issue at all and just farm kills.

Not to mention that sparrows are just an awful missile in general. they are so inconsistent and they lose lock so fast its just sad
oh yeah, personally when ive been grinding usa even the radar and missiles are inconsistent in the event. One game i will have no issues and be tracking people left and right, and then the next my sparrows will just be doing whatever they want and just targetting everything but my target. They are easily the worst fox 1 in the game even with planes like the f15 with a decent radar.
Yep. every sparrow variant is trash. I hate that i have to use them in the event.
I stopped playing sparrow jets in regular air RB for that reason
