Weather is a good way to add variety to air gamemodes, especially for a gamemode with only one map. So no, they should not be limited to a boring lack of clouds every single time.
I would go as far as to say that I want MORE weather variety and time of day variety than we have now.

Some jets and munitions become useless in bad weather or low light conditions, so like, if you are relying on TV guided missiles and you get low cloud cover or dusk time they become useless, while AA is not affected.
I agree it needs to be done selectively and applied (with an opt in for all ToD/Weather combos) to appropriate BRs and the current state of the AA is that they a waaaaaaay overtuned.
But mid-day, clear skies on constant repeat… I cant think of anything worse.
For higher BRs, a range of ToD and weather affects would be cool, especially if we see more mechanics added like ground mapping radar. night raids in a Tonka would be a lot of fun
But even sticking to a reasonable range of day time periods and weather effects, you can create a lot of diversity without having much of an negative impact (though I do want to see weather effects get overhauled, with things like server side clouds, higher alt clouds, moving/dynamic weather, etc etc)
Nope. There is no reason to play hour long full uptier matches in nuclear thunder and there is no reason to play a map you will have zero fun on. Furthermore, if you leave at the start you get replaced anyway.

Even ir AirRB its fine if you don’t like the match for whatever reason, just do it early before people spawn so your team doesn’t potentially suffer for having fewer players. In NE its fine whenever because people join and leave all the time

Nowadays, I get to play the game only an hour per day for leasure. Sure as hell ain’t wasting that time to force myself play something i don’t enjoy. Let it be an awful weather or full uptier. I have enough alternative vehicles so can reroll the chances to have an actually enjoyable game as much as i want. It is not like that matchmaker gives a damn about making the lobby balanced either based on BR or Skill level anyways. Its only goal is the fill the lobby as soon as possible. You don’t break the team balance by leaving at the start since there is no balance to speak of.
