Cool, well I’m in the top 3% versus your 5% so congrats. Turns out I’m usually capping points and supporting players rather than focusing on kills. My WR is almost 10% higher, 20% higher on average with team position and over 400 points on average score per match. As for air, I enjoy doing things such as being a bomber or ground attacker and actually grind out multiple TTs versus you main lining Russia and premiums.

Huh, I said okay because he’s pretty mid.

Would love an EC mode for ground. Done a few custom battles where people modified air maps to have ground fights. That was a blast

What I noticed is the navy AI part of it should have a meaning destroying the enemy fleet should also cause your navy to move up. Right now its targets and a necessary space filler as during the April fools event the sea was a way to bypass anti-air.

Also BB Iowa would be a great addition to the Western fleet but the late war Battleships would be fun to see have them be a special task force that go up to the coast and shell positions. The Eastern team can get some Russian project battleship but they would be a interesting target.

please touch grass

So anyone who isn’t In The top 10% is mid to you?

The report is there for the Rafale, for over a year, but there’s no plans to add it for planes that can’t get ARMs at the moment.

Simple question, when are we getting new maps for ground battles?

Pls delete high range Sams

How to use new weapon select/attach/allocation of # of weapons to aiming point (while in map mode)? I do not see that option on my map?

Gaijins logo being a snail really fits well with their devs

From my experience, SAMP-T sites do their best to intercept incoming offenders, but they are too quick and there are too many of them - lowest number of Kh-31 carried is 4, while usual suspect of Su-30SM/SM2 carry 6 of them and still have competent air to air loadout with it.
If “top dog” bluefor jets also had 6 HARMs, then saturation attacks by uncoordinated launches done by almost entire team would also work. But alas only such carrier is Superhornet, and only when trading almost all air to air missiles, and not many people are willing to play Superbug or even have access to it. Honorable mention goes to JP/CN Flankers, but those are even rarer.

Given my own stand-off experiments on Buk sites, I’m almost sure duo of Superhornets, launching 12 missiles in total should be able to “one tap” Buk site when doing high alt stand-off attack with 50km+ horizontal separation. But that requires intentional coordination and going out of your way with positioning.

Destroying Nebo EWR is also fully possible from bluefor airspace, just bother yourself climbing to 11-12km to give missile good launch and AGM-88C can easily cover ±100km distance, and thats when using Superhorny as launch platform which is, uh, not great. Actual destruction of Nebo is the issue, as “aiming point” is at the tip of the antenna, with missile frequently flying through it, even direct hits score just that, a hit. Most stubborn site I’ve met ate 5 HARMs before it finally folded.

Tried the mode out quickly yesterday, but quit after a short time: It’s not the game mode per se that stopped me, just the missile slinging aspect that I don’t like in any game mode is not for me. Plus obviously I am not versed at all in the RB gameplay that does quite differ from SB.

I think I will wait for “earlier” BR ranges, and hopefully a Sim adaptation…

Ha, more of I’ve been playing since 2013. It’d be different if they have different gamemodes/large maps but seeing how it’s been the same rotation for literally years, you learn the paths that work well. Sniping used to be a far larger part of the game but they’ve either blocked off sight paths or put them as out of bounds :T

Tbh, I couldn’t imagine how painful this game mode would be in SB. I’m a big flight sim guy (I do DCS/Falcon/IL-2) but with how hands on you have to be with controls v a HOTAS system, trying to actually counter SPAA while trying to engage ground while dodging missiles would make it DOA. Would probably help if TGPs had a range farther than 30k yards so you can set up engagements prior to entering the fray.

Yeah I think atm it’s too dense, too saturated (for me haha) - but that’s always the case in RB compared to SB. Especially as the current BR is BVR and stand-off almost exclusively. (Pff, the kill feed started filling with Flankers killing our assets even before I went wheels-up - seems to be the norm, I hear…)

The potential for Sim is there, but it would have to be scaled quite a bit. Moving it down in BR, out of Fox3 country would be a very good thing too…

Don’t worry, a lot of the community agrees that it’s too saturated with Ai AAA (been playing BlueFor and the difference in long range AAA is insane. I’m getting launched at by BUKs while taking off from the rear most airbase). Doesn’t help they gave RedFor Supersonic ARMs while giving BlueFor old subsonic weapons to counter Ai that literally shoot them down.

Still can’t figure out where the heck my HARMs are going as I’m launching them from orbit within the battery time range but seem to despawn as they aren’t in the killfeed either. Though unsure if Gaijin modeled it with memory mode so I’ll have to test that out.

Perhaps not better ARMs, but there are probably other alternatives that could work for the “Blue side,” such as TAURUS KEPD, JSM, and Storm Shadow. They are designed for low-altitude, terrain-following flight, provided this can be modeled correctly.

The increase in SL has helped somewhat, but RP still needs a boost. Spending up to an hour on a single match doesn’t provide a satisfying reward for the time invested.
