Nuclear Air to Air Missile Discussion

In Concern to the New Nuclear Escalation Mode

Atomic AIM-26 Falcon

Hello Everyone with the recent revival of Nuclear Escalation event I would like to make a discussion concerning only Atomic Air to Air missiles and how they could be added to the game in connection to the event. Overall there is good evidence (perfect) for the West (USA plus Canada) had Atomic Air to Air Missiles. Its agreed upon that the USSR had there own version (R-33) but no good proof.

The Point of this discussion to to do the following

  1. Collect info so these missiles can be added
  2. Understand effects that a atmospheric atomic detonation can do to a aircraft (Blast, Radiation, EMP)
  3. All aircraft that could remotely under WarThunders Rules have these missiles bolted to them
  4. Make Suggestion posts so these can be added
  5. How these missiles worked (got to target and go boom)

Waste of dev resources imo.

Wanna do funny airburst nuke shenanigans, go for it my dude. Im sure there are many customs that offer this experience.

But this wont ever be balanced so there is a high probability this wont ever come to the game in official capacity.

Its for the Nuclear Escalation Mode the AIR-2 Genie was approved by the suggestion mods.
