Now With the M1 being Brought to 10.7, Can We Finally Receive M833?

If you had, you wouldn’t be arguing against M833 as the M1 is the worst performing out of the BR outside of Russia with the premium lineup area.

I quite literally just told you I have. And I am continuing to argue that the M1 is performing well within the 10.7 bracket compared to all other nations at that bracket. In fact the KVT is within the top quarter, and the M1 slightly behind (likely due to stock grind).
if you reduce it to only MBTs the KVT is still within the top third of 16 MBTs, M1 slightly behind once again due to stock grind presumably.

The data is available to you just as much as it is available to me. If you had looked it up you would know this though.

Well i guess i am on do to 774 is vary poor round to use. Or they artificially increase 774 again.

Except we shouldn’t need artificial increases when M833 is right there, it’s tested, we know it works at a BR .7 higher than it (IPM1), and it wouldn’t be a huge imbalancing. That’s been the long and short of my argument with everyone here saying, “No.”

I’ll repeat his questions. Please do him the respect of answering instead of ignoring them.

Do you agree that the M1 struggles far more to penetrate T-Series tanks v T-series penning M1s from the front via the information shown to you? Do you agree a majority, not all though, of the maps push frontal engagements which incline toward Soviet/Russian doctrine and negates the advantage of speed and flanking? Do you agree that the NATO doctrine is negated in this game as most maps are close range engagements and have removed a good majority of high ground advantage, either with kill zones or just completely blocked off?

At this point i would say go with adding it, but with the potential to remove it if the m1 Abrams starts over performing. I personally like the m1ip more then the a1s and a2s.

Starting out, this will ignore the Russian premium spam as that DOES affect stats and using your source of how vehicles are doing.

Funny as compare that to the other MBTs at the 10.3 stats… where is the M1 outperforming other MBTs at outside German and Swedish Leopard 2A4 (which don’t ask me why the Strv 121 is so much better when it’s effectively the same tank).

Well let’s compare it to 10.7, which it fights. Also, it gets outperformed there across the board.

Oh, that’s neat, also mostly outperformed even a whole BR up except by the US.

Let’s go down in Battle Rating, shall we?!

Even downtiered it’s being outperformed by other MBTs!

You claim that the M1 is “performing well” when the stats you use don’t support NOR does people who are currently playing the M1’s experience share that sentiment.

I bloody WISH the M1 was overperforming. Really, I do.

It overperforming would justify the latest BR increase.

But it hasn’t been and still isn’t overperforming. Hell, it’s not even performing by standard metric.

And Gaijin friggin’ uptiered them, and did nothing to compensate them. No M833 or bug fixes to the armor or damage model. It’s damn criminal.

Someday you’re gonna need to show me how to copy-paste that. Also, Doctor Who edit is chef’s kiss.

Ah, it was just the “Snipping Tool” at effect there. Had to do that waaaaay too often in online conversations/debates XD

Hey, where’d Casino go? Didn’t we ask him questions and give him some actual feedback like he demanded? You know, stats and stuff? Where’d all the naysayers go?

They’ll be back later on, I imagine. They don’t know how to take Ls no matter how much their meritless arguments are defeated. Dying on their hills is all they know.

The Abrams series as a whole needs to be fixed. The armor rectified. The Damage models fixed. The M1 and M1 KVT need M833. Simple as.

What makes me giggle is that the M900 is found on the Wolfpack and that thing SLAPS hard for only being 10.3 yet when arguing “Hey, can we get it on the M1 since we fight things like the T90A (which, fun fact, came out 9 years AFTER the M1 was retired), Challenger 2 (came out 2 years after the M1 was retired) and ZTZ99s (from 8 years after the M1 was retired AND has FY-4A ERA so the Bradley becomes useless you have TOW-2Bs)”, it’s suddenly overpowered

Wanna know what’s also funny? The Wolfpack is about 50% larger than the TT Stryker even though they’re the same model of Stryker.

Riddle me that, Gaijin?

The naysayers: “I never see Red Desert”

Me: “You don’t play enough”

Seriously, you see teams like this and then people wonder why the Russians have such a trash W/L, K/B, K/L rate. Not saying anything about skill because obviously the last few in the list are doing REALLY well but when you’ve got one-lifers and such, I personally feel like the Russian stats don’t really show what these vehicles are capable of.

Are they? They look the same size

Starting out, this will ignore the Russian premium spam as that DOES affect stats and using your source of how vehicles are doing.

You can’t just ignore one nations premium vehicles and allow all the others based off your anecdotal opinion which you have absolutely zero evidence to prove disproportionately effects the USSR. This is cherrypicking.

Funny as compare that to the other MBTs at the 10.3 stats… where is the M1 outperforming other MBTs at outside German and Swedish Leopard 2A4 (which don’t ask me why the Strv 121 is so much better when it’s effectively the same tank).

When you compare the 10.7 MBTs the KVT places 6th place out of 16 MBTs and M1 slightly behind that, so they are performing well and above average for their BR.

Well let’s compare it to 10.7, which it fights. Also, it gets outperformed there across the board.

First off you’re comparing it to vehicles at a different BR which are not it’s contemporaries, second off you’re cherrypicking because if you show the entire chart the KVT is still high up even when comparing to vehicles that are higher in BR than it.

As has been stated many times previously in this thread, vehicles are balanced and moved upwards or downwards based on their individual performance. The M1 at it’s BR (10.7) is performing better on average than other 10.7 MBTs so is remaining, and will continue to remain at 10.7 as it is until this changes.

Also once again you are hyperfocusing purely on win rate again whilst ignoring the other statistics.

You claim that the M1 is “performing well” when the stats you use don’t support NOR does people who are currently playing the M1’s experience share that sentiment.

The statistics do support the claim that it is performing well because it is objectively performing well within that data. At the BR which it is currently placed it is performing above average compared to its contemporaries at 10.7. This is obviously reflected in gaijins own statistics as they are not moving it in BR or changing it. You’re trying to twist the data to suit yourself now.

In general, I saw that all countries at around 10.0/10.3 had decreased K/D after the BR changes.
USA, in general, had higher K/D compared to other countries at this BR, at almost all times.

From what I saw, USA, in general, was increasing in K/D ratio before the BR changes, in which it started falling after it. Seems like there was a peak around August.
image

For Germany, there was a general decline in performance beforehand, but was exacerbated by the BR changes.
image

For USSR, there was general trend that suggests that it hadn’t been improving nor declining beforehand. Only after the BR changes did they seem to decline, like the rest
image

I think waiting a bit more so that we get more data after the BR changes would help clear things up, though.

Yes I noticed the same trend looking at before and after. Essentially all the now 10.7 vehicles have declined slightly in their average performance. Going to post the chart of the three main nations combined for ease of comparison.

3in1

As you said though we do need to wait another month or so since a significant portion of this chart has broken datapoints as the project could not receive new data whilst thunderskill was down for a significant part of this month.

Red box being the duration for which it could no longer draw data and went a bit wild.
