I just don’t have the same experience as what it shown in that footage.
I know that it’s heat sig is high, but having a hard time believing that it’s that high.
exactly, you get a low CM count compared to the AV-8A I can set my CM to 4 per release and I use it at low interval too
Have you played them a lot post update?
Feels like this topic is burning even hotter than heat-sig of harrier in game.

to beat 4 R-60 from say a MiG-21 its around 32 flares so for 1 dogfight that’s more than half of them gone.
At 11.0 I pack chaff too. so 20 chaff 40 flares, after 1 fight there are like 8 flares left.
assuming the aircraft will actually fire all of its r-60’s at you after seeing you flare them
assuming you didn’t get gunned
assuming that you weren’t able to flare them with less flares than what is claimed
this is mid level survivability and is not a problem if you have an issue then make bug report for flare count
Its got the correct amount of flares lol.
It is way hotter than its IRL counterpart and as the Harriers tactical manual literally states a single flare can fool the AIM9L rear aspect when the Harrier is in full power.

Keep in mind that this report wasn`t even LOOKED without directly talking with a moderator about it.
I’ve only been able to play 7 air RB matches, and I’ve only died to an IR missile once. The rest of my deaths have been from guns or SARH missiles.
I still need to play more matches in it.

In this match I flare an Aim-9J that was 1km away from me with just one flare pop at 7:24, and I do it again at 7:36 when it was 1.2ish km away. I also dodge an Aim-9J from 600m away with only 1 flare pop while manoeuvring at 7:56.
I have been trying to get them to buff the Harrier for ages.
