why on earth would I look at a website with such a track record as bad as reddit? why would anyone listen to such a place?

the F-14 is a shell of its former self because of how overplayed and unfair for everyone else it was forcing it up into compression hell where it will stay. Its reputation will always be stained

do I want it to ever be close to what it was absolutely not but I would like for it to stop being free food for even the most trash FOX-3 carriers

Many people just wanted gaijin to make the plane fair and playable, I am not just talking about F-14s. But gaijin just don’t give a f. I mean they just want to make money in the most dumb ways (Such a create many new pre-orders that most people would not buy it.)

Too bad F-14A Early stuck at 1977 loadouts, which means basically not possible to add AIM-9Ls and TCS.

In the hope of keeping things on topic, I dont think the f14 is neccesarily a bad plane but the a variant at least is one of the biggest victims of its own implementation having the aim54 even if people have wisened up on how to avoid it, it means it cant go lower than it is, but if it only had rear aspect IR missiles and aim7F it would be maybe 12.3, i dont even think its really an issue that can be solved by decompression, it has similar issues to the maus, where its good in a downtier but utter trash in an uptier, but also giving it aim9L would make it just a worse version of the f14B, but giving the f14B aim9Ms would make that a worse version of the f14D so its really a struggle to figure out what to do with the f14A
