NB’s only happen in 10+ BR Ground RB’s.
I have played game for years and years and I can literally count on my fingers how many times i’ve gotten a night battle. I want an option to opt into only night battles.

Fr, I’m two years in playing with it enabled, and not once have I had a night battle. Issue to this very day

Jealous. Are there any requirements I need to know about in order to get in? I need to know, I really want to get in one

Must be BR 10.0+, however when I was grinding for all the Night Battle rewards, I found that 11.0+ was the “best” odds of getting in. Because you can only be downtiered to 10.0, thus all of your up and down tiers have a least a chance of getting into a NB. While if you queue for 10.0-10.7, you have a chance of getting a down tier into 9.7 and lower, where your teammates/enemies can not get into a NB.
