Norwegian Air Forces Subtree

NORWEGIAN AIR FORCES SUBTREE
UNDER THE SWEDISH TECHTREE

This is a suggestion for a new subtree wich would be implemented under the Swedish/Finnish techtree. This consist of Norwegian vehicles. This could help having a bigger choice for lineups, and fill some of the gaps in br wich the Swedish/Finnish tree currently has, and to bring some more vehicles, wich many of are special.

When one day Denmark is going to be added, i would suggest considering splitting the trees, and i therefore include this link NDI - Air forces techtree

In this tree i have gathered Planes wich are built, modified and bought by Norway. Even tough RNoAF was founded in 1944, i have included the planes from before this, when Norway had two branches, the Navy’s airforce and the Army’s air force, in my opinion the best era.

Remove f35 and I am fine with it. F-35 should only be USA and UK bc those 2 invested and were part of the program the longest. If other in game country was part of development from early as UK lmk.

Why remove them?

The block 3f we have now are modified, and are the only one having drag chute, in addition the next update, block 4 wich will soon take place the norwegian planes will be equipped the Kongsberg JSM missile, wich is norwegian as well

also, Norway (Kongsberg defence and aerospace) are partners with Lockheed Martin, and are among other things producing parts for the F-35 planes

They are still doing it today

I would say they should stay simply due to the lack of modern stealth aircraft operated by sweden and finland. they would, ofc, come several years from now but would still be one of the few options for top tier sweden

why would gaijin do this when it has never been done in the past before Japan Italy and Germany are probably going to the the f-35 swell

It’s going to have some mods and options in armament that others won’t have, so it qualifies just as much as the others to have them

Like the f-16, Norway modified those and have armament/mods wich no one else has again

+1. Would add a nice selection of planes to Sweden and fill in a bunch of gaps, and give more choices.

Would be neat to see this, especially if combined with Danish aircraft. Personally I’d like to see the N-3PB and Mosquitos in the attacker line as they’d be able to fit at rank 2 and 3, a gap that Sweden/Finland really can’t fill properly, although I guess the J 30 night fighter could go be foldered with the Norwegian Mosquitos too. Changes like this would also allow the Norwegian line to become more of a pure fighter line too

Id rather have what would be the pinnacle of US strike fighter technology stay in the US tech tree, but for the sake of balance you all have good points. As long as the f-22 stays in the US tt it’s fine.

Yea many countries dont really have any other options for stealth fighters (isreal, italy, sweden, britain)
As much as i hate to see a copy-paste to so many nations, its the only option for many

modified

What changed?

Will you add more info about the modified planes?
curious how different they are

wich ones do you want to know more about?

Pretty much whichever, as long as it wasn’t a direct copy paste or simply changing the radio

lol imagine gatekeeping a fighter jet
