They need to let it die already, pretty sure its about as old as the M60 tank
Yeah its called the W6 LEX and it was a part of a broader IHQ (improved handling and quality) package for F-5E/F airframes.
I dont think that brazil acquired the IHQ package for their original F-5E fleet, but got it from the jordinian airframs they purchased.
The bad thing is that no photos have been seen of the F-5TH carrying more than 2 missiles.
F-5Es are only 2 years older then F-16As…
No need for the sass lol but i would love to see more upgraded 3 gen airframes in the game
I mean the F-5 airframe in general.
That is one of my favorite things about the South African TT I live seeing how they modernize old tech with the Olifants.
I feel the same way as you do.
+1 for a LATAM tree
Honestly, seeing any non major nation (ones that have thier own tech tree) improve vehicles/receive special modifications of any kind is really cool.
Some include the brko (Bosnia), Vickers 4 ton with a 40mm (Latvia), M44T (Turkey), Atlas Cheetah (South Africa) among numerous vehicles
Well the world ain’t about to let the M60 die either lol

Did you know…
…that besides the first, the second F-5E manufactured in the world flies in Brazil?
F-5E 71-1418 was the second production aircraft produced by Northrop. The fighter first flew in December 1972.
The “1418” was developed through a series of weapons tests, including the launch of Maverick missiles, firing a 30mm cannon pod on the belly, and laser-guided bombs.
In 1988, the Brazilian Air Force acquired a “new” batch of 26 fighters (22 F-5Es and 4 F-5Fs), all ex-USAF.
In this batch was the “1418.” With the Brazilian Air Force, the fighter received the designation FAB 4857.
This is an interesting aircraft, and thanks for your résumé.
But there are too many F-5 in Wt today
