But there are differences. The American components were supposedly removed. Probably making it a little worse as China was significantly behind the curve at that point in time.

The problem is for a source to be of any use it has to be at minimum a secondary source according to the snail. First hand sources really don’t exist from China so that’s out of the question too. Sure you can find 17 different blogs that all say the same thing but according to gaijin that’s unreliable.

That source i linked is the Middle East Review published September 2000. Technically a legitimate source. Quarterly issue and peer-reviewed.

Exactly lol, some of them really stretch it and say outrageous things like “The PL-8B can pull 100Gs because our 2 dollar modeling simulator says it can”

That’s technically a source but not one that’s very useful for any intensive purposes considering we don’t even have the regular PL-8 in game.
We have the PL-8A with the name of the PL-8 and the visual model of the PL-8B lol
