I’m from Egypt and I’d like to tell you that the pyramids are in a completely different area in Egypt called Giza.

Maybe they were stolen by Vector as a test-run for his great Giza pyramid steal … Gru was not happy about that…

What I’d rather love to see (more so than Pyramids which are about 100km to the West of the map) is sea traffic in the large Sinai / Suez map, of which Sands of Sinai is part of:

The Suez Canal is a very busy sea route (over 10% of global sea trade passes through Suez!), yet there is not a single ship to be seen. They could very well however be added, both as NPC /map decorations but also as AI military assets (like on Denmark).

oh yeahh i remember seeing like a port near few kilometers outside the mao

You expect “Napoleon” Battle of the Pyramids battle?

TBF, the modern Giza complex would make a good basis for a WT map with a mix of open desert, the pyramids, and some urban sprawl.

I would prefer the 1940 Giza instead as map for tank battles.

Just give us pyramids or riot !!!

Fuck it can we get a Paris map for GRB/ARB? Why don’t we have famous cities to fight in and above? Why can’t I larp as a fighter pilot above Manhattan?

Wouldn’t commercial maritime activities be halted if there are active conflicts going on in the region?

If I recall correctly, during the Six day War a bunch of commercial ships got stuck there, were witnesses of the War of Attrition and stayed pretty much there until the very end of the Yom Kippur War
