No air kills when blowing up bombs?

i cant seem to remove the feeling that gaijin once again messed something up. fix one thing, bug another.

when shooting at a plane with proximity shells, like my wz305, i blow up bombs. however, this bomb then blows up near the plane, and i dont get hte kill?

why does it work this way, gaijin?\

it also works in the opposite direction. friendly fire proximity shells is turned off. however, if i shoot my shells near a friendly bomber, the shells will detonate the bombs under the friendly plane, blow up the bombs, and then the plane will blow up without the friendly kill flag being ticked off. this bug allows a person to teamkill without reporcussions.

if gaijin needs an insentive to fix this asap?

You can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)

A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

necronomica. my ability to report a bug is very proficient. the ability of the moderators who are handling bug cases, is not. more often than not, bugs are classified as not a bug. which makes it even more sour when in a later patch, its being fixed, or altered either way, but when you guys link to the report of who reported it, its always some random russian guy.

you guys need to take bug reports more seriously. because i was hesitant to even report this in the first place.

This category is also used when the bug report is missing information and/or is not created correctly. If you have any questions about any specific reports you can send a private message to one of the Technical Moderator team members and ask about it. you can find them listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure)
(If you don’t get an answer for a few days you can add more moderators to the first message instead of creating a new one, that preserves the date and doesn’t make it look like a new request)

Making a forum post about it sadly won’t do anything.

I’m a Game Master, we handle in-game chat and name-bans and have nothing to do with the bug reporting or how those reports are handled.

this feature was removed for gameplay reasons iirc (when bombs are still not dropped yet)

So this DID happen to me. The most likely thing is that the bomb was already too much dropped below to kill the plane. I think it only counts as a kill if you (a) directly hurt the plane (b) if the bomb was still attached to the plane. Gaijin doesn’t count it as a ‘kill’ if you didn’t damage the plane yourself. (so the kill goes to the bomb, I guess).

Same happened to me when I shot down a FAB-500 from a IL-2. He survived.

But when I ‘hit’ that Bf-109 before detonating the bomb, I got the kill.

Same. It takes them 3 days (and still not) to attach my suggestions. (I posted 2 and I stil haven’t got it posted).

making a forum post, advertising a way to teamkill without penalties due to a bug? im sure that gets some attention when posted on public forums. might even make it a priority fix.

Or, you know, is against the rules:

Please do as @Necronomica suggested. Create a bug report (if needed, there is the chance of this already being reported) and wait for the Technical moderators to comeback to you.

Bug reports and fixes take time, please have some patience.

And no, creating forum posts to advertise your bug report (or something that is yet to be reported) is not allowed.
