NF-5A Flare Nerf: Requesting Refunds and Community Action

Hello everyone!

I want to draw attention to a recent issue concerning the premium NF-5A jet. According to the official description on the store page, the NF-5A is equipped with an electronic countermeasure (ECM) system capable of deploying 60 standard and 30 large-caliber infrared flares. This explicit feature was one of the major reasons many of us purchased the aircraft.

However, after recent updates and changes, these specifications will be altered, reducing the number of available flares— directly affecting combat survivability, value, and overall purchase expectations.

Such changes are not only disappointing, but they also constitute a significant reduction in the product’s stated capabilities, compared to what was advertised and paid for.

I strongly encourage other NF-5A owners facing the same issue to file refund requests through Gaijin support. Please reference the official product description when submitting your claim, and encourage others to do the same. United action will help bring visibility to the problem and possibly lead Gaijin to address this situation transparently.

There have already been other refund requests similar to this. Gaijin does not, and will not, refund you.
Also don’t act like the NF-5A isn’t still straight up better than the F-5C
Also, AI generated slop isn’t helping anyone.
