I hope gaijin cooks well and doesn’t burn the house with this one
to be fair, bonking them with a 945m/s 155mm 10.5kg HE shell doesn’t sound so bad either
the F15I Ra’am looks busted tho, doubt we’ll be getting that for a hot minute
Oh yeah that’s probably next year material, especially if we get it with the Spice 250
imagine the CAS potential with that thing
That’d be crazy
This turns out to be false unfortunately. My contact turned out to be unreliable.
Don’t worry, the Sholef V2 should have access to modern HE rounds and I believe even a rocket-boosted one if possible.
Now watch Gaijin adding a copy&paste Tiran 6 and call it a day.
So long as I get my Tiran 6 with the ERA and 105mm with apfsds I’ll be happy with that lmao. (Or was it the Tiran 5 that had era in that one image? I can never remember which one it was)
If you mean the Samovar, it’s a Tiran 5S
Ahhhh so it was the Tiran 5, had a feeling it might have been haha.
The Samovar was a modified Tiran 5S, for the export market and IDF but was never adopted.
My friend @war_Tinder made an article on it on the Shiryon Archive website.
Thank you ofekk.
@F-16D_Barak_II as Ofekk said, the Samovar is not a Tiran 5Sh. It is an upgraded Tiran 5Sh, and the image you provided is not the Samovar, it is a Tiran with Baltan ERA on it. Ofekk linked the article I wrote on it which included me having a call with a historian for it.
shhhhhhhhhhhhh tomato tomato
Indeed the Tiran line has been neglected for years now.
Although, in my opinion, Israel needs different vehicles right now. I would prioritise on light tanks and IFVs, especially the ones with guns and ATGM on the same platform.
That’s exactly what I’ve been saying haha, ITV’s light tanks, etc are highly needed in a new research line, hopefully it ain’t too far away in the future…
Achzarit or Eitan would be ideal rn, I really don’t want the Namer tho unless gaijin fixes the Merk’s hull armor
Feel the exact same, those will be much nicer for earlier lineups too. Namer just gonna be a larger and heavier KF41 style ifv if anything due to the cardboard armor ingame. Eitan things gonna be fun as heck tho
Achzarit would fit quite well the current Israeli meta: tracked vehicles with heavy armour and unusual layout and designs.
(The part about “heavy armour” is still only on paper, though.)
