2S42 Lotos, 120mm Mortar Mayhem

This is interesting, the semi-new Russian 2S42 Lotos self-propelled gun. Armed with a 120mm gun. It’s designed to replace the 2S9 Nona.

Existed also with 5 cm Bk 5.
For straving run upon return of bombing, as well as to shoot at sea and big airtargets.

Are you saying they can’t use NATO rounds because it’s a mortar round or?
Cause some of them do use 120mm mortar rounds

It fires mortar rounds, I was highlighting it’s not going to be firing 120x570mm NATO tank rounds. It fires the same rounds as the 2S9 Nona.

I was wrong about that By the way, the Su-25 and Su-25TK (Su-39) are identical, but one is premium and the other isn’t. Technically means russia got it first.

My 2.57 brain cells can’t put it together if they have different names but yeah you’re right

Thanks for the mention!

If we’re gonna get a GDR T-54, I’d like to have the T-54AMZ, as it was a domestic upgrade package for it.

My wishlist is Gaijin finally give us official confirmation that Australia is a sub-tree of Great Britain. There’s already a dozen Australian vehicles across land, sea, and air but simple because Gaijin haven’t said it you keep having people say “no they’re not”.

Because Gaijin confirmed they’re not sub-trees

That’s why it’s a wishlist.

People call the Su-25TK the Su-39, I mean, they are identical to the Su-25T though.
