But it’s still Turkish…
It has zero connection to turkey
Build an aircraft specifically for nation, be told your for said nation, nation denies service.
It’s a lovely little liars paradox.
Build a heli they didn’t want or ask for
You obviously don’t know how contract competitions work then.
neet , somebody found more about it
The heli has better reason to be in Israeli tree than in a Turkish tree.
Turkey literally had nothing to do with it beyond it being in a competition for their new heli.
No, the Israeli would already receive the Su-25 Skorpion.
Supposedly the one I suggested was a mock-up, I didn’t know this.
Yea, I previously said that.
I’d rather take the Skorpion than the 50-2 as, well…it atleast was built, and I guess having the capability to carry 8 Lizard/Opher guided bombs or 8 Kh-25/29 would be cracked.
I suspect we may see it first on F-18C modernisation (which iirc has AESA) and of course, F-2
imo itd make more sense for it to be an f15 since those were the first US AESA fighters, but with how things are going you are probably right.
maybe regular radar f18c december, then june update will have AESA F-2 and F-15C
F-18 is arguably less powerful though due to less kinematic launches (particularly with the average player taking so many missiles the jet is subsonic and on the deck).
Also AFAIK F-15 AESA radar is stronger than the F-18 one but don’t quote me on it.
Who knows. F-2 I would bet is one of the first with the first in-service AESA iirc.
i mean the current F-18 AESA is probably better than the early 90’s AN/APG-63V2 on the F15C, but since the f15 would have had literally just a bigger radar it could have better range than the earlier f18 AESA radars
btw, f15c with an/apg 63v2 older than f-2 with j/apg-1
This could likely just be a sim/mockup that was painted for an Israeli delegation that visited Northrop to inquire about the YF-17 and its potential production and integration into the IAF. (Flogger and fishbed kill marks for fun :P)
The delegation was more so interested in the potential F-18L it seems. Eventually nothing came of this, as the F-15 and F-16 filled all the need of the IAF. Would have been cool but it’s likely never coming to the Israeli tree, can always become a skin for a future YF-17 tho :)))
ROCN 海寧 (Hai Ning) 370 ton gunboat. Former Japanese 若丸 ( Maybe former tugboat)?
3 x 25mm
3 x 13mm
Later changed to survey ship AGSC-862 in 1956.
If you ask which of the F-15 equipped with APG63v2 and the F-2 equipped with J/APG-1 was put into practical use earlier, it would be the F-2. Both were in 2000, but the F-2 was several months earlier.
