What’s this pretty turret or vehicle’s name. I pass through a picture days before. A plane of installing it on a BMP-3’s turret.
Edit: find it. both 2 vehicle is called Kornet-D1(actually, it’s the name of this weapon system), one with 4 missiles is commander version, 8 missiles one is launcher.
said to be a new Chinese attack helicopter
Apache (Left) vs New Chinese helicopter (Right)
While yes those are interesting, maybe try something that actually has reliable documented information? For example, the Kranvagn. The information is available and reliable as the suggestions’ sources were documents from the development of the Kranvagn. Plus the 2 hulls built (at least I think they built 2) were functionally reliable enough that they were used to test other technology developments. Those developments tested were the Bkan turret and the Strv 103 aiming system.

Didnt the engine on the Emil hull cock up and only get like 721hp instead of 800
The first glimpse of a new heavy attack helicopter (Z-21?) similar to American AH-64 and Russian Mi-28 was released in March 2024. This project is believed to have been progressing at 602/Harbin/Changhe for some years following the development of Z-20. Consequently its entire engine compartment plus rotor are speculated to have been borrowed directly from Z-20 in order to speed up the development and reduce the risk. It also shares an almost identical tail section with Z-20 but the fuselage appears much slimmer in order to adopt an Apache style tandem seat configuration. As Army’s first 10t class attack helicopter, Z-21 is expected to have a higher performance and carry a heavier load of weapons than the earlier Z-10.
I’ve seen the Kranvagn’s suggestion page but what I am saying is, the data’s all theoretical, the turrets never actually materialized. So gaijin has to come up with a turret purely based on paper figures.
I am all for heavy oscillating turreted tanks i.e AMX-50, T-57, T-58 and would love to see Kranvagn as well, if atleast some form of that turret was created.
I am not a fan of the Ho-Ri(s) we have in game either.
The Tog II variant we have in WT was also something never put together historically (the 28-pdr was proposed but the 17-pdr was actually put together).
But I’ll leave the decision to Gaijin. At one point, they’ll run out of ground vehicles to add in the game and will be forced to add these partially built vehicles to keep the updates and the game interesting.
But before that I kinda support the idea of Kranvagn variant with Centurion Mk.10 turret (coz both the hull and turret existed IRL) and the Kranvagn based Akv 151 prototype SPG (would really like this one)
It’s also possible they could expand the features of the game and explore new territories with it.
But your point still stands: there will come a day when Gaijin will have to look into partially built tracked&wheeled vehicles.
The 28pdr was installed as it’s the gun on it at the tank museum. I’m not even sure they were gonna add a 17pdr?
The confusion is, that its a 17 pdr breech. But that is normal because the 28 pdr IS a “bored out” 17 pdr, it uses the same beech, just a bigger shel.
It’s why it was said to have a 17pdr all this time, who would bother measuring the bore… but it must have looked kinda out of proportion tho, can’t imagine the guy who notcied and just thought he would go grab a tape measure.
What’s the name of this helicopter? Z-21?
No official name, Z-21 is just a guess.
It’s still classfied, this video is something can’t avoid, as you can’t hide something flying. Little possiblity that we will get some information in November Zhuhai Aviation show.
