The very limited info is exactly what I’m concerned about, given it may be hard for gaijin to implement it or they’ll flat out refuse to do so.
Same thing probably gonna happen with this beauty…
Magach 7A-120 my beloved
And also yeah, it may be a smart idea to improve the current Mk.3s to a new standard, similar to what they did with the Mk.2s way back when. Adding an APS and upgraded sights would definitely be a great way to modernize them to a usable standard, however the turret armor and armor for the driver would need to be improved significantly to survive the modern battlefield with Kornets flying around everywhere.
The Merkava 3D with those mods or even adding Iron Fist-Light Decoupled as found on the Black Knight in-game would be a serious boost in protection. Probably easier to implement too. With it, replacing the older PIANO LWS with modern Elbit System’s LWS shouldn’t be too difficult either, especially if they could reuse the same mounting locations. Modern 3rd-generation thermal cameras for all stations would allow it to put in some serious work but it would still be semi-hampered by its mobility. The omni-panoramic camera being replaced with a 3rd-generation version would offer a major increase in SA too.
Even if we don’t get it, the Sabra Mk.1 should be able to cover it lol. Would be a mean beast if it did come given its ~700-900mm chemically protected turret and ~700-500mm chemically protected hull (assuming it keeps similar figures as the 7C ofc). Fingers crossed we’ll get a armor buff (specifically KE) for the Magach 7 series before it does come, if at all, mainly given the absolutely horrible KE multipliers this things armor has…
The latest version of the M109 in use with the IDF. Currently undergoing a replacement program with likely contenders being the Artillery Gun Module and ATMOS 2000. I don’t know what the current status is of it.
Achzarit Mk. 2 (RCWS-30), New Life in Old Gear
A repurposed Tiran hull converted into an APC, which was further converted into an IFV prototype known as the Achzarit Mk. 2 which uses a Elbit System’s RCWS-30 which can be found on the current in-game Namer 30. This module has a 30mm Bushmaster, coaxial 7.62mm machine gun, and Spike-LR missiles. This prototype does however, lack a Commander’s sight.
One of the few HIFV’s that have been ever developed, this variant of Namer is built upon the renown Merkava hull and is equipped with a remote control turret module that has a 30mm Bushmaster, coaxial 7.62mm machine gun, a mortar, the Trophy APS, and Spike-LR missiles.
ZTQ15 was not purchased and used by the Gabonese Republic, and the word Gabon sounds similar to the Chinese word for ‘adding a shed’(加棚). This is a pun in Chinese
A T-64 with Nizh-1M ERA which is superior to K-5, more ERA bricks, 3rd-generation thermal imager, Kombat GL-ATGM, and more. Tradeoff however, is its best round being the 3BM42. It can use P99 TAPNA APFSDS-T though as a placeholder.
