Our VT-5’s have slightly different turret. So is our VT-5 the base VT-5 or the one you shared? This one seems to have more armor. I don’t think it’s the base variant.
I couldn’t find a single picture of a VT-5 with less armor than that, but it appears that you’re correct - as the Bangladeshi ones seem to lack the LFP add-on and some turret armor. That picture you posted must be the actual base armor.
I know the Bangaldeshi VT-5s also got GL-5/6 APS, though. So they’ve got that going for them.
I dont think so. I haven’t seen GL-5/6 on any Bangladeshi VT-5. But in this picture it seems to have UFP ERA?
Maybe LFP has ERA

I can’t find any images of the tank with GL-5 on it, but it seems that the VT-5BD is known to have been equipped with GL-5 APS.

i’d seriosuly doubt that from the picture i can find (as in "i’m pretty sure those are just smoke launcher’s on the side of the turret , GL-5 doesn’t look like those smoke launcher’s wee can see)

Yeah I’ve never found a photo of a VT-5 with GL-5 on it. But it appears to be true in writing.

Maybe VT-5s never received any APS. Even the chinese ones shown in defense Expo doesn’t have APS

to my knowledge it never got any APS option given to it
Bangladeshi VT-5 lacks extra front hull armor add-on but has extra armor on turret cheeks.
Can also mount ERA blocks @ hull-front
and other minor differences like smoke launcher arrays …
