Mainly because the post pen and ammo capacity of the gun would be horrible. The thing only carried about 100 rounds of 7.92 and tbh it would probably preform as well as light apcr shells lol pz1C was a cool tank but I don’t think it’s anywhere near good enough to be added.
Although I do hope for a pz1 in terms of the Spanish civil war one because that’s the only one fitted with a real gun
What is already a incredibly mid gun lmao so now that with non traditional weaponry and ammo I don’t see any solid chance at getting kills plus it wouldn’t even have scouting since it would 1000% be rank 1
The 3,7 cm KwK L/45 does not, fire Pzgr.18, that round is also not solid AP and its penetration at up close is also more than 41mm.

My point was moreso that the pen value wouldn’t be unheard of for Rank I tanks.

Pen values wouldn’t be unheard off but again that not the issue. Your using glorified apcr with 20mm of pen on a gun with limited ammo likely horrible post pen damage and horrible velocity. Again the tank is cool but it doesn’t have a place in reality
Actually Germany has plenty of places for crappy tanks. Germany currently doesn’t have a bad Rank I tank, while almost every other nation gets one, so I think it’s Germanys turn. Besides they can always folder it or make it a vehicle that you automatically unlock after getting a rank 2 tank. If It’s able to kill stuff with its gun, it can be added to War Thunder.

I mean, lets be honest: does every vehicle in this game have to be good? Or can some vehicles also just be allowed to be fun, or niche?
Not to undermine your argument, I get that, but I think that if we only focussed on the tanks that are “good”, then a decent amount of what we have in game currently wouldn’t fit the bill.

I fully agree the focus should be on silly fun unique tanks but they have to actually be able to do something lol and not be useless in a actual game.
Like I’d love too see the Großtraktor silly vehicle wouldn’t be good but has enough firepower to actually do something

It’s not unusable? It’s fully able to kill lightly armored targets. It’s literally just like a German T-60. Just because you think you wouldn’t be able to do good in to doesn’t mean the rest of will too.

They have to be good in there own special way.
With a way worse gun nearly 650 rounds less of ammo and again it’s a tiny caliber shell. It would do no damage at all.

From what OP has told us it has great speed, so it would be a flanker. Not every tank is some head to head brawler, some are for flanking.
